    BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

    THEY SAY IN THEIR DATA PRIVACY POLICY THAT THEY DO NOT PASS YOUR DETAILS ON TO THIRD PARTIES. THIS IS A LIE. THEY SELL YOUR DATA TO DIRECT MARKETING COMPANIES EVEN THOUGH YOU SAY YOU DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES!!!

    STAY CLEAR IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION CIRCULATED TO ALL AND SUNDRY!

    I have to agree with other reviewers that the qualityof the Crocus website is excellent and definitely helped me plan what to plant on a couple of new border, and i spent over £400 with Crocus on a couple of orders.
    The ordering and delivery side of things went well and the plants looked reasonable when they arrived in February 2008.
    However, I reckon I have had at least a 50% loss rate - a coiuple of plants failed to thrive the first summer and since then many more have not re-appeared t ...

    Absolutely disgusted with crocus. I have never written a review on anything before but feel so strongly about the service and quality of plants that I feel I have to warn other potential customers. Plants were supposed to be available within a week of ordering. They arrived two and a half weeks later and only after me phoning and asking where my order was.     I initially started to use Crocus to send flowers on speacial occasions and was attracted to the company because of the great website which I found very clear and easy to use. The bouquet selection was different from their competitors and I didn't mind paying a little bit extra for something which looked a little more special.     I have had a terrible experience with Crocus, they have not gotten back to me regarding my order for over a week despite emails and phone calls. Every time I spoke to anyone they were extremely rude, and all I wanted to do was find out if I could add another plant to my order. I have tried to make a complaint and been told they do not take complaints.that said I cancelled my order, but I am concerned that if I don't get my money refunded I don't know what I'll do because I don't have anyway to g ...

    I've been very pleased with my 2 orders from Crocus this summer - I have obviously seen a different side to this company than some of the other reviewers here - I wonder if it depends more on the supplier/distributor chain used by the company in each area - though ultimately Croucs needs to take responsibility for everything.The website and range of products / plants is good and I got some good discounts.     I waited three weeks to receive my order from www.crocus.co.uk and when it finally arrived the plants were almost dead. Customer Services seemed very slow to address the problem and I eventually received a refund, six weeks after my order was placed.

    I was impressed by the website although I only looked at it because I had received a 10% off voucher. Having waited nearly two months for a cherry tree, I was disgusted to receive a specimen with very few leaves which had clearly been half eaten by pests. It was also diseased. It was so bad that my gardener refused to plant it. My previous delivery came badly packed and one shrub was squashed. I will never use them again.

    I received terrible service. I wouldn't use them becuase I had to wait weeks longer than the delivery time stated.

    I have used Crocus on a number of occasions since 2005, primarily for ordering plants that were 'out of season' at my local gardening centres. However, I have also used their 'design' service, where they prepare a garden/border plan for you.
    1. Plants: The size of plants supplied do certainly not relate to the litre size of the pot. My experience has shown that the size/maturity of the plants supplied are way down on what you would expect to get from your garden centre. Beware & compare! They'r ...

    I discovered the Crocus website after browsing UK Style gardens and was immediately impressed by the quality, knowledge and selection available.
