Stopped for food and toilets. Only one disabled parking bay. Only one unisex toilet accessed through shop. Toilet does not appear to have been cleaned since it was built!! What appeared to be urine and faecal matter on both toilet seat and floor.

Absolutely disgusting and smelled so bad that we left without purchasing anything. Staff were most unhelpful. Would never stop here again.

Bought two newspapers. Times and Telegraph, two mornings running.
Noticed cashier did not scan telegraph costing £1. Second morning queried why second paper not scanned, and was told 'the machine isn,t geared to scan this paper'. Think some discreet surveillance of how much cash then enters the till would be a good idea.
Unfortunately I was so bemused by his actions forgot to ask for receipt.

Car overheated so went to Shell Petrol garage to get water.
I removed radiator cap and burned my forearm.
Staff was on hand and gave me an ice pack and a hot drink for me and my daughter.
She was very helpful and I was very impressed with her kindness and helpfulness

The fuel was marginally higher in cost than one or two local Shell garages, but I was low on juice, so I pulled in. The wife thought it would be a good idea to put the car throught the wash, so i bought a Bronze car wash token as well.

Not a good idea. The car wash was void of soap - just water coming out slowly from the nozzles. After drying off, my car was coverered in residues. In fact it looked worse than when it went into the carwash.

The nub of this is that the member of staff insiste ...

So there are problems with card skimming at shell garages, well it was sorted out at Fleetwood so they've resorted to giving short change instead - seems to me Shell need to look more carefully at the staff they employ or more people will boycott their pumps.

My husband and I paid a substantial amount to have our Subaru Forrester converted to LPG last summer and I am absolutely dumbfounded as to why there are hundreds of fuel stations that still don't supply it.
Besides it being more environmently friendly, it has reduced our fuel bill by half, but even though there is a Shell fuel station on our doorstep in Rowlands Castle, we have to travel about 10 to 12 miles up the A3 to Petersfield to buy the LPG, (from a BP station).

The Shell Petrol Station at Basingstoke has friendly staff. If the petrol could be labelled with the word "petrol" and the diesel labelleled "diesel" it would help customers to avoid the expensive mistake of misfueling. The new special diesel and the expensive petrol both have the name V-Power. Petrol into a diesel car causes very expensive damage.

I like Shell stations. They are very colouful to look at. They are all smart as each other. They are very modern and stylish. Shell is now bringing out a new identity. CAMBRIGE SERVICES now uses Shell Fuel and soon PETERBORUGH SERVICES, thanks the owners of Mc Donalds xtra MOTORWAY SERVICES. The shell logo has now been put in place of the shell name on the canopy normally seen in RED, and forecourt signs are now using more white with LCD Price Display's.
Red seems to be a very welcoming colour e ...

I went to other petrol bunks where I usually get down before the start pumping the petrol because they usually cheat people. They never start from zero.
Shell is one petrol bunk where I have complete trust.

The signs for V Power diesel looked like adverts and no attempt was made to indicate the types of diesel available at which pumps, however perhaps, in the current market place, Shell don't have to consider their customers, but as the cashier suggested I can always go elsewhere.

I always go to my local Shell as it is the cheapest in my area it often beats the price on my local Tesco as well. Although they also have a shop I would not use this as it has extortionate prices but I suppose they have to make there money somehow.
Another thing I like about Shell Petrol Stations is on the weekends they have an attendant who fills your car up for you for an extra £1 - Great when it is cold or raining.
