    Good Points: We liked the entertainment and Michael Jackson show. The hotel was excellent, and the food was good to eat. The restaurant manager and staff were very helpful and considerate always cleaning up the tables. My family had a good time, especially myself at the swimming pool. Anyway I had great fun skooshing people from the pool with my water skoosher (don't get too carried away) it's a plastic skoosher you get when you purchase an ice lolly at the pool bar great fun you have to do it to believe it. They wonder where the waters coming from try it yourself and let me know on the reviews.


    Bad Points: Having to get up early, to secure a sunbed. Its like brands hatch without the starting flag and playing the Benny hill theme.


    General comments: We liked the entertainment and Michael Jackson show. The hotel was excellent, and the food was good to eat. The restaurant manager and staff were very helpful and considerate always cleaning up the tables.
    I met a lot of nice people mostly friendly to me and willing to chat with my wife and I.

    All brilliant and am going back again next year. Love all the staff and they work so bloody hard we need to appreciate them. Just got back from staying in the Hotel Ambassador today (14/05/08). Had a brilliant time apart from the weather not being to good. I cannot fault the hotel in anyway, our room was cleaned every single day and those maids did work hard, all staff were very friendly and the waiters were all brilliant, made us feel so welcome.     We have just returned from the Ambassador Playa, stayed in block 1 lots of traffic noise, loads of fumes. If you want a good well laid out comfortable room go for the top floor pool view, otherwise suffer the very poor air quality on the bottom floors. Food was 7/10 plenty of the same thing each night, entertainment included bingo, ball room dancing and an organist, made the most of what we had available but would not stay again...

    Been going to this hotel for 14 years now, sometimes twice per year, staff are friendly and some remember us year in year out, food isn't fantastic but more 'every day' always plenty to choose from and a big must for me milk at breakfast for cereal is COLD ! Been at other hotels near by and the milk is hot. Kids always have plenty to eat and go up time & time again. I you want Al Carte this isn't the hotel for you

    Location brilliant, clean. Food terrible overcooked no attention to detail in this hotel most staff on reception and restaurant very indifferent and surly. Food and staff badly let this hotel down

    We stayed in the hotel in september 2006 with our little boy who was 6yrs he loved it. The hotel was clean and food was fairly nice.( I have had worse) The night entertainment we couldn't fault, the hotel is situated in a good place , not far from beach, shops,pubs, and eating places. We stayed in a diffrent hotel in benidorm supposed to be better class and didn't like it. We are going back in May 2008 and staying in the ambassador again as we liked it that much, just hope it is as good if not b ...

    Benidorm, Hotel Ambassador Playa - We stayed here for a week and had a great time. The holiday was booked last minute in order to treat our teenage sons to a break. Ideally located for the ameneties. We prefer it quieter but saying that it was not as bad as we expected. Hotel suitable for all ages. Restaurant staff very helpful and not pushy.

    Had a problem with the air con - sorted in a couple of days.
