    Good Points: Food, rooms clean.


    General comments: I went to Benidorm for the first time in 2006 loved the Monaco Hotel the food was great, the bar staff were lovely, I found the pool a little cramped but when I went in the July they were doing it up in October and taking it down, I went back to Benidorm in may 2007 and I saw the hotel and it was being done up, it was on four stilts, I just wanted to know does anyone know if its finished yet?

    Despite the problems we had at the Monaco Hotel, we enjoyed ourselves in Benidorm and would definitely go there again, just to a different hotel.

    Benidorm, Monaco Hotel - The hotel was well situated in the centre of Benidorm. The room was spacious and airy. The entertainment was above average with a couple of exceptional acts but it finished quite early.

    The food was awful, if you weren't down first thing for breakfast you got rubber eggs, bacon like leather, etc. Evening meals were not any better with very limited choice.
    13 floors and only 2 lifts? You were quicker taking the stairs most of the time!!

    Monaco Hotel was very comfortable, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and we had a.c. The room was a bit cramped because there was three of us in a room that should have been a twin.
    We could just about see the sea through the buildings. I saw 1 cockroach on bottom floor.
    The hotel was in a brilliant location for us. It was 2 mins walk to the beach and to the excellent bars (go red dog). Good food too. I would defiantly go back. I loved Manollo the reception guy, when we came in (very) late on ...

    Monaco Hotel rooms were horrific, cockroaches everywhere in the rooms the toilets etc. The food same every day and certainly NOT nutritious for young children or anyone for that matter. unfriendly staff, waiters / waitresses. No sun loungers, dirty pools, homeless people sleeping outside the hotel. No clean sheets and no clean towels for the whole fortnight of our stay.

    The bar staff at Monaco Hotel were amazing especially the one with the swagger, forgot his name, but he was good. The English barman was really accommodating, and the other one (sorry no names) by the third day they knew actually what you wanted, before you asked. It was and is a good hotel, anyone who says different, should have paid loads more and gone to Florida.

    Monaco Hotel was good, perhaps not the best, but we enjoyed, we went to Benidorm to enjoy and we did
