Good Points: It is indeed, 'the antidote to modern angling'! Beautiful photography. Diverse subject matter. Quirky. Looks great on the coffee-table!
Bad Points: Can't think of any...A little too much fly-fishing on occasion?...Nah! It's a great mag!
General comments: A magazine that is obviously produced with much love by true aficionados of the angle. Decades after the cessation of 'Creel', Waterlog magazine stepped-in to fill the void. Well done to everyone concerned with the reinstatement of this purist periodical! I look forward to an anniversary edition made entirely of split bamboo!

By far my favourite fishing magazine. Waterlog covers subjects that other Angling titles ignore. Tall tales, informed debate, angling nostalgia and traditional tackle being just a few of the items that appear each issue. If you are disillusioned with the standard angling press's obsession with muddy carp ponds surrounded by lager swilling pole wielders.....get waterlog...the true spirit of angling!
