Good Points: none

Bad Points: Dirty pool, no changing facilities, rude staff. Inadequate and badly cooked food in the boat house. Silver standard caravans substandard cleanliness

General comments: This holiday at Thorness bay Isle of Wight this August 08 was for 18 members of my family it was a very special occasion. Unfortunately we made the wrong decision and chose Thorness bay as our holiday camp. Never again.

We have just had a superb holiday on the Isle of Wight staying at Thorness Bay holiday park. We booked through Angelas holidays at www.angelasholidays.co.uk and their service and price was excellent.

The caravan is very clean and well equipped with a lovely decked area outside with patio furniture and a large parasol. Thorness Bay Angelas Holidays - Luxury Static Caravan 2002:
The caravan was clean spacious and well equipped with the added benefit of being able to place the travel cot in a second bedroom instead of the lounge as is often the case. The entertainment team were fantastic and provided a wide range of activities each day and night, defiantly something for everyone. Excellent on-site facilities and lovely spot for a quiet holiday. Excellent for kids with lots of room to play away from adults,they have to be careful of the road though (speed limit 10 MPH !!)Indoor pool and slide. Lots of stuff for adults in the evening as well. Bar prices a bit pricey, but who cares!

Thorness Bay holiday park was an excellent base for our family holiday on the Isle of Wight.
The accommodation was provided by Angelas Holidays, whose service and price was excellent.

Highly recommended.
