This branch is where trainees should be sent to learn, and practice, how to meet and exceed a customer's needs and requirements, customer relations, determination of a customer's budgetary perameters, possible alternative offerings and how to generate repeat business.

It is clear that this team is well trained, efficient in what they do, but above all, well led by Laura, who motivates and encourages all staff, and in my case, makes me feel part of " The Family ", without being too familiar.

They have worked so well to achieve their standards ; rewards should reflect as much.

Visted the Trafford Centre branch in order to search for a wedding ring.
Saw just the ring in Leslie Davies. Were approached very quickly sat down and the ring was brought to us. The perfect ring but the wrong size. No problem our assistant said and went off to see if the size we required was in stock. Answer NO but she would locate one or have the one in stock re-sized. Next day telephoned and told ring would be re-sized three days later received a call to advise that the ring was ready - All i ...

My Boyfriend bought me a white gold ring from Leslie Davis as a christmas present and took out an extended warranty. Not even a year later i noticed that my ring had cracked in 2 places and took it back to the store where the manager looked at it and agreed it had become porous and offered an exchange.

Leslie Davis could not find a replacement ring and told me to choose a replacement which i unhappily did. Several months later i noticed that a stone had fallen out of the replacement ring and ...

I have a platinum diamond solitaire ring that was purchased from their partner company Leslie Davis in about 2006. Unfortunately it was a size too big so they allowed me to keep the ring until they found one the right size. Unfortunately they could not find one in my size so after much persuasion they talked me into having it resized rather than have a refund. I was very dubious and concerned that it would weaken it etc but was informed by them that all rings are set on a band which is bent and ...

Foolowing my review of Janaury 19th I contacted Consumer Direct for some free advice. Well worth the phone call. I was told that if a product develops a fault within six months of purchase it is automatically deemed to be faulty manufacture and it is up to the shop to prove otherwise. I was told that I had to allow them the opportunity to repair, if that failed, replace and if that didn't work, a refund. Sale of Goods Act 1979 (Amended)

So armed, I went back to the shop and spoke to the assista ...

My partner wanted to buy me some jewellery for Christmas. Together we chose a necklet and a bracelet for my birthday which is just in the New Year. Christmas Day I was duly presented with my necklet and was delighted with it. 13 days later after normal, reasonable wear I noticed that one of the links had come undone was about to fall out. I returned the piece to the shop in Hanley. As we didn't purchase the insurance for the necklet I was offered the option to have it sent away for a repair esti ...

My Fiance bought my engagement ring on 27th December from the Trafford Centre branch of Leslie Davis, but didn't propose straight away. By the time he did we were two days outside the exchange policy, but the ring which was sold to him has a big inclusion which you can see from the side, and I was under the impression that the naked eye shouldn't be able to see those things. When we took it back, all we got was "well, you should have come two days ago and we would have changed it for you." It is ...

I wanted some distinctive jewellery for my mother-in-law's birthday and the sales assistant at Leslie Davis very patiently showed me all of the jewellery they carried, from Gucci, Kenzo and Mont Blanc. At the end, I bought two pieces of Calvin Kline jewellery. Great service, knowledgeable staff and good choice of merchandise. Leslie Davis, Brent Cross - thank you!

I agreed to buy a ring in the Leslie Davis store but they didn't have my size so they would post it on to me. Every time I called up "it's been posted today". I have called up 4 times now still hearing the same thing, and still no ring.

We purchased our rings from the Trafford Centre store 1 year before our wedding. At the time of purchase one of the assistant managers was very helpful and told us we could pay for our rings in installments and collect them at a later date, nearer the time of the wedding.
When we came to pick them up after paying for them, I was told by another manager we had already collected them, as you can imagine I was getting a little upset. She told me to ring up tomorrow and see if there had been any d ...

I took my Gucci watch into Leslie Davis to have a new battery fitted because I had seen a £18,000 Rolex watch in their window, and I assumed they would be very reputable, and above all careful. This was the first time I had needed a battery.

I bought the watch with some money left to me on the death of my grandmother. My grandfather who had died previously was renowned throughout our family for having kept his gold retirement watch until the age of 94 in perfect condition because he ...

During December 2005 I purchased a White Gold Ring for my girlfriend for Christmas from Leslie Davis Jewellers. The service in-store was fine, although two months after Christmas one of the stones fell out. When I purchased the ring I was offered an extended warranty. I did not take this as I was informed that it came with a one year guarantee. I considered this to be adequate cover at the time, but the ring broke within 2 months of purchase and I thought that it would be covered.

    On returnin ...

My girlfriend and I are soon to marry and wanted our wedding bands to come from Leslie Davis, Hanley Potteries centre, which is the same place the engagement ring was bought. We chose platinum bands at £950 each, and we were encouraged to try them on at home to see if they were what we really liked, and we could return within a month if we were not totally satisfied. We both decided after a week that the rings were not what we wanted, so we returned as encouraged and changed both rings. Th ...
