I recently had my engagement ring resized (smaller) at he Milton Keynes store and the customer service we received when having my ring returned was dreadful! The manager could not care less as we had already paid and the quality of the actual resizing is poor. “Avoid at all cost !!!!”

we bought our wedding rings from the lakeside store a month before our wedding . after the wedding we noticed 1 of the rings was a bit loose . we telephoned to enquire about resizing and was told no problem just bring it down and we can do that free of charge . when we arrived we was told it was out of the 30 days and we would have to pay . had we known this we would not have wasted 1/2 day driving to lakeside . got ring resized at local jewellers . “THE WORST STORE EVER! LAKESIDE STAFF ARE USLESS”

So its Valentines Day 2014 and me and my girlfriend decide to get promise rings. We thought Lakeside in Grays would be a good place to start. “£600 engagement ring broke after 18 months”

After buying my fiancee's engagement ring from H. Samuel, the most special piece of jewellery I will ever buy, imagine our reaction when, having been wearing it for just 18 months, the diamond fell out while she was at work and couldn't be found. Fortunately we had taken out insurance, and so were offered a replacement, but this goes nowhere towards making up for the fact that it will not be the same ring she was proposed to with. “STAY AWAY! Really poor customer service.”

I do not live near a HSamuel store this is why I ordered online. They sent me a BROKEN item, and are now refusing to sort it out because I cant take it to a store. I couldn't agree enough. Pathetic Staff. My watch was under warantee and the water proof Casio Edifice watch started rusting from one side of the dial First they analysed and said they will fix it for free then someone from their shop went greedy and then charged me £52 for a watch which cost only £80. Thats a daylight robbery. I called their customer care and it was unresponsive. After numerous attempts someone picked the phone and then i asked them to send the watch back so that i can start using it! Its been 2 months then and still waiting for my watch .Ive to relocate in between and they said they will send it before Christmas but again received a call from someone that its delayed sending. Worst Staff their. They will try to sell you these insurance which they wont honour. Dont bother going to his conshop. Terribly disappointed that staff can harass me since they got my watch with them and not sending me back. Calling to their Customer service costs 5 pounds each time. I could have just bought a new watch. People should take note and check warranty from HSamuel and don't take their insurance. They have trained their staff well on conning honest vulnerable customers.

“assitant manager was not helpful”

I bought a ring for my sister and when i spoke to her she told me that she want neclase not a ring. I live in fradley i called bullring shop to see if they can do this for me today or not. The lady who answered my call ask me to come down and we wil sort this for you. When i reach there after she told me that she cant do anything at the moment unless the item arrived here at the shop. “On line no sales”

I have just ordered an eternity ring for my partner and was promised 2 day delivery on 18 December 2013. I parted with my money only to receive a voice message from a store in Weston Super Mare stating that my Christmas Present would arrive in 35 days. There was no warning on the website. Hi, ditto to what you have written, I ordered on 17th December - my son's Christmas present - well within the deadline for Christmas delivery. Delivery was expected on 20th December and I have written to them every day since, without any success. I cannot telephone them as it is an 0845 number and I don't have a landline. Today is the 27th December and it still hasn't arrived. I had to go out late in the day on Christmas to buy a replacement gift for my son which has resulted in me having no money until they refund me. I have now written to the Chief Executive of Signet Jewellers who are the owners of H. Samuel to see if this will make a difference. This has caused me a considerable amount of financial stress as well as the disappointment of my 12 year old son.

I took a ring in for resizing. It contained engraving which I was told may be lost - I agreed with the sales assistant that if it would be lost then this is ok and that I would still like it to be resized. “21 days and still no refund and no ring !!!”

I ordered a personalised ring from h Samuel online on 7th October 2013 paid and got told it will arrive in 14-17 days had an email stating it had been dispatched waited 7 days and still no ring so I rang up to be told wait 10 days check with neighbours etc as they had sent it out buy royal mail standard delivery as I didn't pay next day delivery well I wouldn't be getting it next day would I also as it was £200 I got free delivery anyway rang up on day ten to be told they would have to refund… Read Full Review

After being ignored three times by the two staff members on the floor, I can only assume that we didn't fit the h Samuel profile of people with money, we were finally served and told the staff member what it was that we wanted he told us there was one in stock but he could not find it , so we had to order it in for the next day at a charge of £5. “Takes Your Money and Does Not Deliver on Time”

We were charged upfront for our wedding rings and they were not delivered on time. We are still waiting. When we go to the local shop they tell us that they are chasing head office but as the rings are through a subcontractor, the head office does not know where our rings are. Same here. Bought two wedding rings for my girlfriend and myself. Took 2 days off work for them to arrive, but they didn't.... still waiting to reschedule.

“Horrible workers !”

I went to the store with my husband to buy me a ring for my birthday. We bought the ring , we ment to recieve it next week in the store ! the next week we went to pick it up ! They had a big mess and they gave me the wrong ring! After a couple of times saying its not my ring they gave me my money back ! “scruffiest, most dated, stores ”

Your stores seem to generally be small, cramped, run down, dated and far too much 'tat' on display in windows, in terms of tacky ornaments. My engagement ring was purchased via yourselves, but online. I do like my ring a great deal, although the gold was a little scrimped on and diamond has visible inclusions, via naked eye, but colour good.However, ring has survived 3 years of constant heavy wear and only had setting tightened once - was loose on purchase. “Wow, worst service ever”

They charged me twice for the same item due to a problem with their systems and 4 days later and 15 phone calls and 15 broken promises it still hasn't been refunded. We will call you back by the end of the day is a way of them putting you off it would seem as they don't phone back. I have similar situation in Leeds. I have been waiting for my necklace back for over 1 month and been told different stories each time I went to the shop to chase it up. Finally I have been told it got lost and I have rceived replacement. still waiting for gift card for the remaiming amount and insurance papers that I was promised to be received by post.
