“Gold peeled off”

Purchase a swarovski rare ring for my girlfriend, she took very good care of it. Took it off to wash her hands and everything. Within 1 months the gold layer started to peel off and by 2 months that much had peeled off it looked terrible and she no longer wore it. I took it back to the shop for a replacement and they refused because it was a 'decorative ring' and wasn't covered for peeling.

“Does not even deserve one star”

Do not even deserve one star. After two weeks and only wearing my ring once or twice the plating as chipped off! Went in to my local store and they said they couldn’t refund me because they were just a franchise and Westfield’s White City could because they were the head office. Went into Westfield’s and they said that they couldn’t see anything and to wear it for a bit longer and damage it more and then bring it back in. She also gave me the customer relations contact details. Already unhappy I sent customer relations an email, they contacted the store and the store had no recollection of me coming in. Again frustrated so I called customer relations they saw pictures of my ring but said it was only ‘wear and tear’!!! After two weeks...The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone actually hung up on me and wouldn’t let me speak to a manager. Still nothing and they will not do anything about it. Even after being accused that i didn’t look after it or must have put cream on it, they are still satisfied with their own customer service. They also didn’t believe or understand anything I was saying and kept twisting it so they sounded correct. Certainly not the definition of good customer service. The customer service at Swarovski is shocking and will never buy anything from them again - it’s not worth it.

“leave swarovski well alone its losing value every day.”

my wife has been a collector of swarovski for over 30 years and collect all the large animal pieces . her elephant that i paid 500 pounds for broke a tusk that just fell off and its made from frosted crystal we contacted swarovski to get repaired and was told that if we could not find our receipt they could not repair. then they said its a retired piece and would not have the tusk. so to all you collectors stop buying this rubbish or if you do buy it used on ebay and save 100s of pounds as if it breaks they will not fix it. if they dont repair after a said time that shoud be said or signed on day of purchase.

“Returns policy is Rubbish”

When you buy you are told that you can return items if you don't like them. When you try its a completely different story. Most unhelpful - will never shop there again.

“Shoddy Items dont buy from them be warned”

I have bought my wife several items over the past 4 years all or the items have had to go back for repairs 2 items twice due to stones falling out, I have just been into the local store to pick up the repairs and they still want me to pay for an item that is still in the warranty date, Am now going to report them to the Trading Standards as I cannot get in touch with there own support team, The shop is less than helpful. I think my problem is only the tip of the very large iceberg. my opinion is that the repair department is a cashcow for Swarvorski

“Eternity Ring lost stones”

I bought my wife an eternity ring, all the stones have now fallen out and are lost. Not much eternity there!Would not buy from them again or recommend them to anyone else!

“DO NOT BUY EARRINGS”

Was given a box set of a necklace and earrings as a gift. Only opened the box to see, but did not like them so actually did not even physically make any contact whatsoever with the either item. Tried to return and was told NO as there were earrings in there and for "hygiene" reasons they cannot be returned. Apparently only LOOKING at earrings is a contamination concern for Swarovski. Absolute and complete rip off. Will never purchase anything from them again. AVOID!

“Nice at first HOWEVER not lasting”

My parents bought me a 150 euro ring from Swarovski for my 20th birthday. I took care of it and followed the seller's instructions: take off before shower, don't apply cream while wearing it etc. However, a few months after wearing it, I noticed that some of the 'gems' had fallen out. Now, 5 months after its purchase, MOST of the gems have fallen out and this truly broke my heart. Such a lovely and expensive ring should last LONGER. This is a joke. I am never buying from Swarovski again...

“absolute rubbish”

I bought a necklace for my wifes 50th birthday,some of the stones fell out on the first time she wore it.Obviously I returned it to the store I bought it from, they couldnt have been more rude. They said my wifes perfume had reacted to the glue holding the stone and wanted £20 to send it off to see if it was covered for repair. What a load of junk.

“worst experience ever”

I bought a pair of earings and a necklace as a present for my wife from paris duty free shop on airport. My wife did not like the earings and when I went to exchange/refund them I was denied any of it. the store that I bought it from clearly said that it was possible to refund/exchange within 30 days of purchase internationally. the GB customer service says that they don't comply to international rules and I would have to take it to the duty free store on paris airport that I bought it from. this is ridiculous. avoid avoid avoid

The service at the Moncton, NB, Canada store is fantastic. I have made several purchases and also completed a return - 100% hassle free. Prices range from affordable to over the top, depending on what you are looking for - simply something for everyone. Love this store and their staff!

“Gateshead metro shop”

Public need to be aware that you are not able to order an item in store if it's not available unless over the value of £350,which I was made aware of when trying to refund. If you decide to ask for a refund it can take up to 3 weeks to process . My issue was that I ordered a necklace for Xmas and left the earrings to see if my wife liked the set as earrings not refundable.The earrings I was told were the ones for this necklace were not the correct ones, when trying to order they were not available anyway and was told I had to order online Then asked for refund and twice asked for the process time and was told each time...3-5 days. It was not until I got the refund email that I was aware of the possible 3 weeks turnaround time. The staff that dealt with did not give a pleasant customer experience and when i spoke to the assistant manager he initially tried to dodge the whole issue by requesting me to approach the on line department,which was an obvious trying issue or staff issue.

“Avoid the Bournemouth store”

Received a gift from my husband for Christmas which I tried to return, they refused me a refund even though I had a gift receipt. They told me I needed the actual receipt which I went home to get and returned to the store to find them closed 10 minutes before closing time!!

Purchased a bracelet and a necklace from this company of which I spent over £200 for both, lasted all of a week! Followed their instructions not to get wet, put on hairspray whilst wearing them etc and the stones continued to fall out, up to now I have had the bracelet replaced twice and necklace 5 times, they now refuse to do anything about the jewellery!, appauling service in my eyes, please never purchase anything from this company... Over priced tat!

“ Zero Customer service ”

I was bought a pair of earrings as a gift.They are plated in rhodium which I'm allergic to. They were expensive . Returned them with packaging in tact so they could tell I had no unpacked them let alone worn them!!Horrible customer service in the Norwich store.Unhelpful,rude and will never set foot in there again! ...Avoid like the plague

“dull cloudy crystal”

I purchased the "Brilliance" 2 crystal necklace. Have only worn a few times and now the crystal has a dull cloudy cast to it. i I am not sure what type of glass crystal they are using. I have many other necklaces (not swarovski) and none have turned cloudy and dull like my swarovski piece. Customer service suggested it was due to "wear and tear", my necklaces do not suffer from wear and tear. I believe they use shoddy materials, I have seen two of there crystal rings at a second hand store and they both looked like the same garbage my necklace is now! I would be better off buying jewelry at the dollar store---which is what my swarovski necklace looks like now. I plan on telling my friends not to purchase anything at their stores.

“Earrings Damaged by Makeup!!!”

Bought some earrings for my sister as a b'day gift, but then some of the stones fell out the first time she wore them. When she contacted Swarovski they wanted £20 just to look at them and then when I took them back to the store in Cardiff, we were told that it looked as if there was makeup on them and this would have damaged the glue holding the stones in place! Obviously you would never expect to get makeup on a pair of earrings worn by a woman!! Ridiculous and the poorest customer service I've ever experienced!!

“Awful customer service”

I received a lovely pair of crystal earrings as a gift last year. The metal part was weak and it snapped. I took them back to Swarovski in Brent Cross. They could not have been less helpful. They asked me for the receipt. They told me they could not help as they no longer stock this style. I said can't you send them to be repaired and I will pay I.e. Replace the metal post. They said catagorically that they could do nothing. I maintained that they were expensive earrings and my favourite. They were completely uninterested in giving me any service and their total attitude was unhelpful.

“Mail order service a waste of time”

I ordered 2 tea light candle holders as a gift for a golden wedding anniversary and chose to use the on line ordering service as the nearest shop to me is a 50 mile round trip, and I did not have time to make the journey. When the package arrived only one had been delivered with no explanation as to where the other was and an invoice indicating 2 had been sent. Contacted customer services, who didn't seem too surprised by this - I was told the warehouse has this problem like this is a frequent issue. The best that could be offered is a replacement that would take 7 days to arrive, too late for the gift to be given, or a refund for the missing item so that I could go and find a replacement in a local store. As a result I took the latter option to find it takes 3 weeks to get a refund, not to mention the inconvenience of having a 50 mile round trip and having to take time off work in order to sort out their problem. Definitely would never use the online ordering service again and found customer services to be very unaccomodating

“terrible”

Brought the rose gold rare ring two weeks ago. As instructed didn't wear it whilst washing up, washing hair showering etc. So far 11 crystals have fallen out. Waste of money. Not happy

Just got an engagement ring made by Swarovski as budget wouldn't stretch to a real diamond, as my mum in law passed away and we used the money to go towards the funeral. Obviously this took priority, so we went for the next best thing. Can anyone tell me if this ring will last?  It's white gold with Swarovski stone. Or should we be saving up for a real one?

Having had a swarovski ring, I advise you to save up for a real one. It may say white gold but it probably won't be. There are loads of half price sales around at this time of year. Many people also sell unwanted rings on ebay etc also. My partner paid a lot for a Swarovski ring and when I took it to the jewellers to be altered they told me it was 'costume jewellery'. Honestly, buy a cheap ring to put you on as this will not last and you'll be disappointed.

My advice is steer well clear. See my earlier review. I purchased wedding jewellery and it went green having worn it one day. The quality is poor and it might last temporarily but not forever. You can get much better quality rings on the high street.
