I love the uniqueness of Lush's products and have been using them since way back when they were Cosmetics to Go. No-where else on the high street can you get scents and natural products like the ones they produce. yes, they're not cheap but, you're paying for the expertise and the fact that it's all British made. I was in Lush Brighton a couple of weeks ago and, I have to say, the guy who served me was one of the nicest people - EVER! I had picked up a bubble bar and a bit had fallen off... (read more)

I have used lush for about 10 years and still love that smell every time I walk past. The staff are always great very pleasant and quirky which is nice to see. Yes they grab you as soon as you walk in, yes they have sales targets like anywhere, but I have never found them pushy as I'm very direct as to whether I need help or not and If I say no they walk away but most of the time I chat to them for ages about products anyway! The only issues I have are the fact that many really good... (read more)

The staff are just too pushy. I only shop online now because of the way staff hound you the second you walk through the door, telling you to test all these different products and hard selling things even if you say no or you're just browsing. It's a shame, as it's a great shop with many fantastic products, ruined by over zealous staff (who to be fair, are probably told to be this way). Regardless, it's intimidating when all you want to do is browse in peace and choose for yourself!! (read more)

Lush are really bringing fresh to the high street! These shops are easy to find, just follow your nose! The smell of the inside of the store may be overwhelming to some. On the good side, I love the idea of knowing who created my fresh products, and the fact that the majority of preservatives/chemical junk ordinarily found in beauty products are not present in Lush products, bar the odd preservative. Their environmental ethos is great too. I like being encouraged to re-use and return my... (read more)

When entering any lush shop you are greeted with a beautiful smell. All products smell delicious and all do wonderful things for each part of your body. Staff tend to smother you as soon as you are in the door and some products containing glitter are overpowering for instance the glitter bath bomb...you don't expect the glitter to go all over the bath and take days to clean Over all good products, great smells and a lovely present to give to someone (read more)

It is a unique beauty shop, selling a wide range of soaps, body scrubs, ballistic balls and balms; all of good quality and hand made, using only natural ingredients, but unfortunately at a rather high price, but occasionally it is nice to buy as a gift or just to treat yourself at bath time. Whenever you enter a Lush shop, you become overpowered by the lovely smells from the products on offer. There are many huge soap cakes on display, each containing unusual combinations of ingredients. My... (read more)

Lush
I remember the feeling of excitement that I used to get as a teen on a Saturday morning, as I would count my hard earned cash (yes even as a teen I earned my money), get the bus and head into town to browse the newest products in the Body Shop. I loved that place, from the wonderful variety of different bubbles I could buy (in all manner of exotic flavours) to the fact that it had an environmentally friendly policy; it was THE place to buy your toiletries. As I grew a little older,...

I love Lush! The products are mostly natural and smells so sexy (even if it doesn't smell so great in the shop, I can guarantee that they smell amazing once you get home). Although they don't do sales like other chemists do, all are brilliant value-for-money. Aside the divine ingredients and cute shapes, they really works. The shop grows on me now and I would like to say that it is my favourite cosmetics shop of all! (read more)

Where do you stand on solid shampoos?

I couldn’t believe there was such a thing! I was having a shower and used my house-mates soap.
She dropped me a mail later in the day giving me a bo**ocking, saying I’d snapped her shampoo, to which I replied I haven’t wash my hair today! - It took about 5 minutes of email tennis before I realised.

I thought we progressed away from soap in the form of shower gels, reverting shampoos back to soap is just a crazy idea.

whats wrong with Vosene shampoo and coal tar soap!

and yes i am a male :)
