What is actually inside a Greggs Pasty? From what I notice - it consists mainly of fresh air, and a layer of some sort of White or Brown Gunge (Depending on whether the Pasty is Chicken or Steak) I mean - has anyone ever found a chunk of meat in a Greggs Pasty?? They must be breaching trade descriptions act calling themselves 'Bakers' and passing off these minging slabs of inedible garbage as Pasties. Britains Favourite Bakers Huh????? I dont think so. Employees are treated like absolute dirt by management, you'd think it was the end of the world if you labelled a pot wrong by a day, whereas the customer is more likely to get food poisoning from one of their dog-food like products. Greggs, like any other food outlet are required BY LAW to charge VAT on purchases if you are going to sit down and eat/drink in their cafe.

Wow what a big deal, a choice of brown sauce or red sauce :-(
On the last few occasions I patronised Greggs (some time ago) they squirted a blob of sauce on the plate as they are too tight to give you a sachet and they don't have any tiny disposable pots which would be equally acceptable. Greggs, like Costa, Mac D or any other chain outlet is only fit for empty headed people with no concept of service, quality or value. Incidentally the Boston Lincolnshire branch must serve the most foul coffee AND tea in the entire chain. The cheapest quality at the highest prices and the service is so slow it's unbelievable. In Boston there are 4 better places to have a drink and a snack......7th Heaven in the Market Square is best followed by Archie Hardwicks, Crumbs, and Oldrids.

Hey let me know how you get on with trading standards as I would like to put another matter to them and that is Greggs pricing policy one for 90p and 2 for 180p. It is falsely enticing you into thinking you will make a saving when you buy two. So trading standards might also wish to place this in their investigation bag. Also their customer service is insulting by saying have a treat on a minuscule amount

VAT isn't charged on soft drinks, hot drinks or heated food, only on like sandwiches, cakes, pasties and bread, legally VAT has to be charged when somebody is eating in and the money goes straight to the government, trust me, it's not any nicer for us staff either, a lot of cleaning, a lot of angry, rude customers and a lot of staying back to clean the shop even when we're not getting paid!
