I got this 3com Palm IIIc about 2 years ago (2002).
It has served me very well as a phone book.
I have however given up all attempts to make notes or write down goals/scheduals as i cannot be bothered punching letter by letter (this goes for all palms i used).
The phone book however is something i cannot live without - perphaps u should think that any handheld could offer me this - but iiic has a very big screen that is easy to easy all the numbers.

This Palm IIIc PDA from 3com is 256 Color, 8MB Memory, and you are able to add on a lot of neat things, including the Palm Pix Digital Camera Major good deal! Get it off of Ebay, and the Palm IIIc if you buy one you can find them on there for cheap! Not good for Outdoor use, But overall this is the Palm for an experienced Person who would like a Color Palm. (read more)

The Palm IIIc handheld PDA is a great help for an experienced Palmer.

First off, if you must have color this is a must have for you because the color is crisp and clear.

If you would like a good audio, music, sound this is probably not for you because of the high peak of the volume, very low, would be too quiet to hear in a croud of people or any place where it is noisy.

If you are a first user I would suggest the Palm X, Palm IIIe they are cheap and work great! (read more)

3com Palm IIIc PDA-I Love it!! Color and runs smoothly (if you know what applications to get). Silverscreen looks beautiful on it and i love using it as a photo album on the go. Get yourself one on ebay for cheap. (read more)

Bought the IIIC thinking that it would be an improvement on my Palm V. Big mistake. Poor build quality, lots of faulty units doing the rounds as warranty replacements. (read more)

Units with duff digitiser, cracks in case, sticky scroll down and DRAM problem. I had 3 replacements from Palm !

This is the color version of the Palm 3 and looks better and clearer for it. Memory is not upgradable and 8mb is not a huge amount. I have 3mb left and starting to worry. Bad mistake but I will cope (read more)
