It is light, powerful, versitile, easy to handle and lots of fun. It took me 3 years to find the perfect bike, having tried a variety. And yes, I'm small, light, female and over fourty, so there! :) Beware though, if you're starting off. This is a seriously powerful bike!! I have had a ZZR 600 last and I was happy except for the weight, it's 22 Kilo more and that makes a huge difference if your'e not equipped with a thigh muscle to hold a ten degree lean. The Gixxer is no comparison. It is... (read more)

My bike was delivered on Tuesday after a year of public transport. I'm still learning the ropes but this bike it excellent, its forgiving, fast, easy to ride, and has some real torque. Riding around London you can be a little lazy with the gear changes as the bike pull from all gears and picks up and revs quickly if you give it too much gas. You have to make sure you have control of the bike because it has so much power in slow moving traffic you don't want to end up in some ones car boot. ... (read more)

An incredible machine with so much power as to knock you out. I'm not kidding, you have to hold your breath and squeeze your chest to force blood into your head because a hard twist of the throttle on my 2006 GSX-R750 causes everything to go white as the the blood is forced to the back of your head. Well, I own a K1 Suzuki GSXR750 and race it occassionally on track days. The reliability is top notch and the bike is really fast. This particular bike handles well at high speed and in the twisties. It is a great bike. but I must say that an 05 CBR 600 RR ate my lunch @ Barber. Now, I must admit that when my friend and I swapped bikes he ate my lunch on my bike. It loves to be pushed down a straight away at 160+. Very easy to keep the front down under hard acceleration. Brakes are excellent. My Suzuki GSXR750 was bought brand new at the end of 2003, when the K3's were making way for the 750K4. At almost a thousand pounds less than the thou, and a few hundred quid more than the 600, I traded my SRAD 750WW in for the K3. My old Gixer had covered 65K miles and never missed a beat, so great things were expected of this one...

The Suzuki GSX-R 750 is my first sport bike, I've been riding standards and cruisers for many years. I was excited to get this in a trade and enjoyed it enough to not sell it. It's a very fast bike, scary sometimes. I found some nice mile or so straightaways (make a u-turn at a light) and really hammered it. Very Fast. Most of the bad points could be attributed to my dimensions. I'm a big guy and the bike basically fits, however the mirrors are almost useless for peering behind me. Since I'm... (read more)

I started with a ZXR 600 Ninja, it was magic I then moved on to a RSV 1000 Mille but found the V Twin ride a total turn off for me, I recently bought the K5 GSXR 750... what a bike, fast furious and still on 3/4 throttle. I agree about the sluggish response in 1st and 2nd gear but I think it could be just me getting used to the bike. I get terrible stiffness in my hands when riding for long periods but I think this has something to do with my age, mind you I am only 40.
<br>The bike is sexy stylish and add the odd end can and change the number plate housing, oh, and the indicators then the bike is second to none, I might even consider the 1000 next year.

The GSXR750 is a superb machine that is bound to get you noticed. The sound of the engiine is amazing at full tilt - it screems for more throttle and a nice long straight! It handles like a dream on even the most 'bendy' bendy bits and it's easy to get your knee down. It's comfortable to ride for long distances, but only for one(that could be an advantage)!

I took my clip-ons off and put new bars on a few inches higher - now it is perfect. How can power not be ok in traffic? Actually I'd prefer the torque of a 1000, but the 750 has enough. If you don't need the insane top end power, then I'd suggest you get a nice twin instead.
