    Good Points: Cleanliness of room. Facilities of room. Helpfulness of staff.


    Bad Points: Not the hotel's fault but there were unsupervised children running along the corriders shouting and screaming


    General comments: Golden Sands Hotel is located quite a distance from the beach. Shopping malls come to life in the evening when whole families go out. An awful lot of building work going on, cranes everywhere. No peace on the beach either as the sounds of drilling and hammering were filling the air. In ten years time I may return, when it is peaceful.

    I have just got back from a week in Dubai, staying in Golden Sands. The accomodation was clean and welcoming and the room sizes were very comfortable. Each room had ensuite facilities, washing machine, cooker, and satalite tv. The service from all areas of the hotel were execllent. There is a free shuttle to the beautiful beaches (a bit of a ride) but worth it, whichever beach you choose. Walking distance from localised shops and restaurants, and about a 1/2 walk from Dubai Creek. Staying at the ...
