    Good Points: The setup of my own account is OK, email is working fine too.


    General comments: Uptime and reliability is poor I feel, my 3 websites hosted with HostDime where at least once per week unreachable, sometimes 2-3 times for a few hours. I got only once an email where they announced server upgrades, but I never felt improvements since then. For the first two months the pages where loading fine, but then for the rest of the year the loading times where horrible. A simple page loaded in over 30 secs, that is really not acceptable. None of my sites has huge traffic, and none is bloated with large images/flash or whatever. They can't blame my connection as many people reported the slow loading times.
    I am sorry for HostDime, but unless they change their services I can NOT recommend them. They provide very poor hosting quality. Since I moved to another company, all the problems are gone.

    They host hate sites, they get sites and domain names blacklisted, their email isn't safe and doesn't deliver all your email. Bad choice.

    Cheap is the only good point that I can think of.
    Supports sites that I personally am not happy with, as far as I am concerned HostDimes have failed to protect my site because in my opinion they do not back up their servers? I do not recommend Hostdime.com

    I think that hostdime.com are perfect.
    You get a reseller at $360 a year with pretty much everything unlimited,40BG space and 3TB bandwidth.
    What more do you need? Most importantly they have cpanel which is a really cool an intuitive/time saver panel compared to godaddy and yahoo (which is the worst hosting in the whole world by the way) and the rest of them. And I'll tell you this from experience: you won't find better or faster or more polite and helpful customer support - very easy.

    I have been a web hosting client of Hostdime.com for well over 5 years now and there are many reasons why I have been with them for this long and will be with them longer. First of all, for the money they offer great web hosting service at a low price. Other web hosting companies offer plans at lower prices but cannot backup their product or service like host dime can.

    With Hostdime.com you are getting basically a Bentley at the price of a Chrysler Seabring.

    Don't trust Hostdime if you are running a critical website or v bulletin forum. I was recently with them for over 2-years on a shared plan through hasweb.com, their subsidiary company and bought an upgrade package for more space then WHAM! They pulled the plug on my forum citing all manner of nonsense about CPU and ram usage (it wasn't even a busy forum) and pushed for their more expensive dedicated hosting package instead.

    We are hosting with Hostdime (www.hostdime.com). For five days now (first day no connection at all!) we have had our site up for 5-15 minutes and down for 45-55 minutes per hour!

    I've opened several customer service tickets and they only say "this must be from your connection we cannot do anything unless you return us the trace routes".

    But it was not about our connections, we have members in other countries and they cannot connect to our site, so this is Hostdime's problem. ...

    We support 200-300 clients throughout the year. We deal with a massive number of hosting companies as a result. Of all of them, the most reliable and responsive have been Hostdime. So much so we now have 4 dedicated servers with them ourselves.

    Their hosting control panel is CPanel.

    They have ticketed support with response times within an hour.

    They have phone support with immediate response times.

    Downtime is minimal.

    There are many outstanding hosting companies. There are some mediocre ones, and then there is Hostdime trailing the pack with poor control panel, poor user support and overpriced hosting. I am so sorry I ever used them, and they are the worst of around a half dozen hosting companies that I have used.

    I have a billing issue where they are trying to charge me for services I haven't used for the last 3 years. They said they misbilled me and, "now it's time to pay up." I signed up for a resellers account in the beginning but never renewed that and only hosted my small business site with them. They shut down my site and refused to accept anything less than what they had made up.     Hostdime no longer seem to be interested in smaller customers. They were good, and they gave me a free month to start with, but 2 years later they are more interested in the big guys.

    I would say that near the end of 2006 there are way better alternatives to this web hosting company.

    Hosted with Host Dime for a little over a year, with good results for the most part. Had a reseller account and mulitple domains, worked well. Major problem is that they repeatedly put anti-spam measures on all my accounts, which sent false bounce messages.

    I've been a Host Dime reseller for about 8 months and overall it's a great deal for the money.

    Only two glitches so far:

    1. When I first got set up at HostDime, the outgoing mail went through an SMTP server that a popular local ISP (sympatico.ca) had blacklisted--so no mail was being forwarded to them.     I've been with Hostdime for two years. I started with a shared host, moved to a reseller account, and then to a dedicated server. Up time is very important. On occasion there are minor issues, but that is the nature of the business. NO server is going to have 100% up-time, and anyone getting a website needs to understand that. When there are issues, they are on top of it and get things going again fast. I'm happy with them and plan on staying.

    I have been with them for two years, and am leaving in disgust. Maybe the dedicated hosts are reliable, but the shared plans absolutely suck. More than six outages last year, and that's only the ones lasting more than three hours (one as long as 24 hours), so who knows how many smaller ones there were. Sorry, I hate leaving bad reviews, and only do so if I have to, but HostDime customer support has a singular talent for making you feel stupid, so I don't feel so bad on this one. Good riddance.

    I've been with Hostdime (www.hostdime.com) for two years and I am considerably happy with them. I don't run an online business, so constant uptime falls below price on my priorities. The price is very competitive and customer support has been quick and helpful. This is good because I have needed to contact them a lot with my website being down.     I've been with Hostdime for a while, and unlike others, I have experienced quite a bit of downtime (their site is actually down right now), and it took me at least 10 tickets to get my too many connections thing sorted out on their side. For the price, Hostdime isn't bad though.

    I have been with HostDime (www.hostdime.com) for almost a year now, and have two dedicated servers with them. I have never experienced such a great support before, and I have tried a lot. When you have a server with them it's completely managed, I know my way around computers, but a server is a different thing. So instead of me messing it up, I just make a support ticket, and they take care of the issues inside very short time - the longest I have waited was 3 hours.

    I LOVE Hostdimes! I have been a customer of Hostdimes for more than a year and am completely (if not over-exceedingly) satisfied with their service.     I have had a dedicated server with Hostdime for almost 11 months, and I would recommend them to anybody looking for great hosting and good help.

    Whenever I need help or advice they are there with an answer within minutes.
