    Good Points: Central, great view, fantastic Windows on the world breakfast and executive lounge team. Great heated pool; fast room service, fast check in and check out, very good mattress. Calm on top floors.


    Bad Points: Furniture a little tired.


    General comments: Had a great stay; view from my room on the Nile was great. A real "break" for 3 days. Heated pool was terrific just before new year to swim and relax.

    The Ramses Hilton hotel is OK and some of the rooms are really large. Bathrooms are in need of refitting and not all rooms have a safe. The top floor restaurant is nice and probably a better place to go for a drink rahter than the 'English' pub. The Chinese restaurant is also very good. Location is good if you want to be in the centre, but crossing the road outside the hotel is only for the brave.
