Got a deal from a travel agent friend and went for a week in Luxor at the new Hilton. Stayed in other Hiltons before and this was like a mix of cool looking interiors and Disney Egypt! Great to plug in your ipod in your room in the clock so no need to take your speakers. You can also use the infinity pool which has bubbling seats in it! Usual Hilton food like burgers sandwhiches and pasta. Good breakfast and some local bits on the menu " didn ' t eat at the chinese as not the cheapest. Didn ' t get sick though which is a first!
Everything brand new, wonderful location and stunning views

Went for post-op recuperation. Very well taken care of. Very peaceful location with the Nile flowing by. We were very taken with the look of the place. Heavenly.

This was a great first Holiday to Egypt, and I would recommend it to a friend.

I would definitely go back again, but this time would stay near to Cairo so that I could see the pyramids, as the Hilton Hotel in Luxor is too far away.

Great outings were planned to see the valley of the Kings and Queens, and also a ride on the river Nile and external show.

I wish that I'd believed the reviews that I had seen before going to Luxor. The Hilton Hotel public areas were very poor, there were holes in the corridor carpets which could easily have caused guests to trip over. Only one lift was working and during our stay that packed up as well, forcing us to use the fire escape to get to the restaurant. The pool area was very disappointing, sun loungers rusty, mats very grubby and during the water aerobic session a mains powered radio was plugged in and l ...

I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Luxor, Egypt in August 2005. The lighting for the outdoor areas could have been a lot brighter. The pool area is in need of complete refurbishment. The astro turf flooring around the pool is ripped and shabby looking. There should also be more information given on the use of the safety deposit boxes.

We were booked into Hilton Hotel by Kuoni. We found the hotel very disappointing. Specifically: Carpets in halls and corridors were ill-fitting, stained and ragged at the edges. Reception cushions were stained. Pool sun lounger mattresses were a disgrace, dirty, dilapidated and ill-fitting. Metal sun loungers were broken and rusty in many cases. There are many cracked tiles in the breakfast restaurant with dirty joints. The food quality was very poor when compared to other hotels that we s ...

The service at the Hilton Hotel was horrible. in the cafe by the pool they include tips with the total check amount. The service was horrible and did not earn any tip.
Tip is included and therefore, the service stays horrible.

Hilton Hotel is a cracking hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there, the staff were some of the finest and most customer oriented people I've ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, with a wide choice, and several restaurants. The gardens are beautiful, and directly across the Nile from the Valley of the Kings. My wife and I brought our daughter, and she was treated like a princess. There are several shops in the hotel, as well as a bank to change currency - very han ...

The Hilton Hotel rooms are relatively small for this class and the 'nile view' balconies on most rooms are tiny (standing room only). Hotel services (laundry, excursion booking, etc.) are excellent and good value for money. Food was particularly good with choice of buffet, Chinese, Italian and Arabic restaurants. Terrace behind reception excellent for watching the spectacular sunsets. A perfect relaxing idyll away from the hustle of the town centre.
