The Bridal House, Leeds offers good service, value for money, not sizeist and offer the experience other retail outlets lack. I cannot speak highly enough of the bridal house for the service i received and the way the staff treated me, being of above average weight i had several bad experiences in other so called bridal establishment to the point where i felt like an alien from another planet.
All that changed when i entered the bridal house, i felt so at ease and nothing was too much trouble to the point where i began to feel beautiful and i looked beautiful in the gown they picked for me. i can never thank them enough, i have to say i witnessed customers talking to them like dirt but they didn't react they remained professional at all times and even helped one girl who had been let down by the internet and was completely distraught without a second thought.

FANTASTIC!!!!! I went to the Bridal House with my future bride only a few weeks before our big day. As a same sex couple, we were extremely nervous as we haven't received much help and have been made to feel uncomfortable by other Bridal Shops.The staff of the Bridal House were fantastic. Everything was fantastic when I went to the Bridal House.
I recommend this shop to everyone and anyone!!
My wedding day being yesterday, and my first visit to the store being at the beginning of March, I was told by all previous Bridal shops that I would have to wait up to 16 weeks to receive my dream dress and that they couldn't help!

I would not recommend this shop to anyone! I booked my appointment to attend here on an agreed extended lunch break mid-week, as I thought it would be better than peak time on a weekend. I arrive 20 minutes early, prepared to wait and hoping perhaps to browse through the gowns, as I'd done in other shops, to maximise my time. I had been recommended to The Bridal House in Leeds by my friend who got her dress there a couple of years ago. She said everything was never too much trouble to make your day special. I was certainly not disappointed. From the first time I walked in nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, and they must definitely know what they are doing because the dress fitted perfectly first fitting. I had made an appointment at The Bridal House to view wedding & bridesmaid dresses, which takes about an hour in all the other bridal shops I'd been to. I felt very rushed at The Bridal House, and I didn't even have time to let my bridesmaids look, as they had someone else "coming in soon"! I did try on a dress I kinda liked, but because of the service, I didn't get it!!

I would recommend The Bridal House in Leeds to anybody. After visiting the other bridal stores in Leeds, I was feeling like I would never get a dress on my budget, as they all made me feel bad. That is until I walked into The Bridal House, where their down-to-earth, friendly staff helped me to get the gown of my dreams. I was actually looking for a dress at the time, and I was just shopping in Leeds when I spotted a dress in the window, and I immediately fell in love. I got married in October of this year and I bought my dress from them. Even though from my original fitting I lost over a stone and the dress had to be altered twice, nothing was too much trouble for The Bridal House. They made what could have been a dreadful experience bearable. I would not hesitate in recommending them, and I have in fact passed the details to one of my bridesmaids who is getting married next year. Thank you.

I bought my gown from The Bridal House. I got married this July, and I have to say the staff were so helpful and friendly, that it made the whole run up to my day even more special. The gown I bought was £499, and it was beautiful, and just what I was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I was fitted by the seamstress herself, so I was confident that everything would be perfect, and it was.

I attended the shop for a dress fitting (my first wedding dress fitting). I was very excited but my hopes and dreams were soon blown away. Measurements were poorly done by The Bridal House, they were written down incorrectly, shoddy workmanship of bridesmaid dresses, and overcharged on alteration costs with no apologies for bad service.
Generally poor service considering they want large deposits upfront. No effort to offer compensation or refund when they gets things wrong. They have you over a barrel.

I am sorry to say that my experience at The Bridal House was not all that it should have been. I was measured over my clothes and in a very hurried manner and not surprisingly, the dress when it came, was far too big and a different shape to the one I had earlier tried. Despite the friendliness of the junior staff, the manageress or owner was overbearing and unsympathetic. The whole experience was very distressing and in the end I went elsewhere. I recently ordered my dress from The Bridal Shop on The Headrow Leeds and received excellent service. The girls really went out of their way and from the many shops I visited this was by far the most helpful service I received. No pressure whatsoever and such a wonderful arrangement of dresses I could of easily picked out 4 or 5 I would of worn on my big day. Excellent store with excellent staff
