The whole design of the phone is very good, Nokia do seem to have kept to the same way of doing things with their phones and having owned one of their old brick style phones some years ago I quickly worked out how to use the main features. The style is very pleasant to look at and hold, not so light and small that I would lose it, yet tiny enough to fit in my smallest handbags.
Basically I only use a mobile phone to make the occasional call and some text messaging, but my son has a tendency... (read more)

Overall, the Nokia 3330 works well for people whose requirement is for cell phone with all the basic features. Moreover, it has the additional benefit of supporting the animated pictures and picture messages. I have stored quite a few good ringtones on it and it works well with monophonic ringtones. Works well with SMS and other power sim functions that my cellular company offers. You can download ringtones, picture messages, operator logos, etc. on this set and it realy satisfies me in... Nokia 3330 - I have had this phone for 2 years and it still hasn't let me down yet. It is a simple phone but quickly runs low on battery, and the inbox can only hold approximately 4-5 messages. It has nice covers available and is easy to hear. It vibrates and can be switched to silent from general very easily. It is a good phone for somebody who has never had one before and who doesn't expect too many fancy things. (read more)

I got my Nokia 3330 almost 2 years ago and I still like it, it does the job. Nothing fancy compared to newer phones and signal can be bad were I live. But I only use it mainly for text and the odd call (emergencies really). Thought about changing it a few times, but so far can't see an as good and easy to use phone. (read more)

I bought this Nokia 3330 mobile phone from ebay and it didn't come with a manual but it is soooo easy to use that I didn't need one. The battery lasts for at least five days and there is always a signal so it is a pretty good phone if you want something simple. I got rid of it though becuase I wanted a camera phone and I am definitely regretting it. My new fone takes ages to turn on and there are so many options I don't know how to use all the extra features I paid another hundred quid for!... (read more)

I've kept the Nokia 3330 to the point where I want to destroy it in whatever way possible. It has cut out on me (not battery related) 13 times in 5 months!!! It has now lost all of my numbers and all of the games have turned blank or they have crashed. I have reset it before, but I won't bother next time. It had great games, WAP and it's a good size but it's really let itself down by being prone to constant unreliablity. Not impressed. (read more)

I have the Nokia 3330 mobile phone for almost 2 years. For some months it started to switch itself off in the middle of the conversation, but never in standby.
I see that even the more expensive 6310i has the same problem. I tried to move the battery while I was talking and it didn't switch off! (read more)

the phone is dearer than the 3310 because it has wap mainly. not much else different.
i say buy the 3310 as it is cheaper but nearly identical to the 3330.

The phone would cut out (not battery related) after a few second into a conversation. When receiving SMS there would be ASCI charaters and a message "Some text missing". Many time the phone would not work and give a message "Please insert SIM card" When switching off and back on again and entering the PIN it would work - for a while. Gave it in for "software upgrade" and got it back then it itermittently would not ring for some reason. Still cuts out and still gives the Insert sim card... (read more)

I had this phone for well over a year, and like all Nokias, it served me well. The WAP is incredibly easy to use, the battery decent and the predictive text is far superior to that of the Samsung A300 that I have now. It has a lot of very useful features, but it could do with an organiser feature, like the Samsung has. It is also incredibly reliable- I dropped it and got it wet several times, but it still continued to serve me well. However, it is getting a bit old fashioned looking now... (read more)

I've had a Philips Diga, a Philips c12 & this Nokia 3330 mobile phone & the Nokia wins hands down. Makes my old C12 feel really spongy. Tried various phones in the shops & this was the most pleasant to use for dialing & texting. Volume can reach good high level eventually, but wish I had the option to have it that loud at first. There is nothing really wrong with the Nokia 3330 mobile phones features but it could be lighter or smaller as it is a bit of a brick.
The phone is probably quite good value for money as it has many features such as 5games, wap, timer & stopwatch, voice tags (where you just say the name and it calls that person), screen savers (which actually move).

I traded my wonderful Nokia 8110 in for this Nokia 3330 mobile phone around a year ago, and for the first 6 months I only regretted it a little bit as some features were lacking and the sound quality wasn't as good. Now, however, I find that when I am in the middle of the city, normally where i get wonderful reception, now I don't get any reception. The Nokia 3330 is a great mobile phone. Good call clarity, easy to txt on. Predictive txting works the best of any other comparable phones. Wap is good enough for the age of the phone. It does look boring though! Some phones you just keep pulling out and playing with. This is just not one of them!! This Nokia 3330 was my first mobile phone and I found it to be excellent as the menu is easy and quick to use and it worked 100% of the time. This is a phone to consider if you text a lot as it is dead easy to use the text function and the predictive text feature works very well compared to other phones. My previous mobile phone was a delightful Ericsson T20. I then upgraded to a T65 which I thought was a fantastic phone. There was only thing wrong with it - the keys were way too small. Though I was sad to do it, I swapped my T65 with my daughter for her Nokia 3330, which she'd just upgraded to. The best bits are:

The Nokia 3330 mobile phone itself isn't too small for me to use, even though I switched to it from an old 5110! The weight and slimline body are ideal for just slipping into a pocket, unlike the 5110 which looks obscene if you do that.
The phone is fine, except when it either heats up during long conversations (and your ear is fever temperature), or when it crashes and switches itself off. It doesn't necessarily do it when it's hot though! (read more)

Hi! I switched from the 3210 to the Nokia 3330 mobile phone. Anyway, just to explain the most common things I observed in Nokia 3330. First of all, Nokia 3330 is the best choice for an average user, plus it is actually meant for the young generation. Chatting+WAP are the features that Nokia emphasized most in this model. The casing (original white) in most models gets loosened after usage of a month or two. I mean not completely loosened and falling off, but yes somewhat not in its original... (read more)

I reviewed the Nokia 3310 about a year ago and my words were pretty positive. I have been using Ericsson handsets for the last few months but, despite the apparent growing anti-Nokia feeling, moving back to a Nokia handset has been a welcome move for me.
My basic assessment of the 3300 series is this: If you want a phone for social use, buy it. If you are a business user, don't. The lack of any sort of data support will cripple business users, but the market at which the 3300 is aimed... (read more)

This 3330 from nokia is just a totally brilliant phone. Is there anything it doesn't do? It takes everything good about the excellent 3310 and adds even more to it! Animated screensavers! WAP! Bumper! It is just so cool. My advice is to get it online and on a contract from Genie, then you get FREE wap access and 600 FREE TEXTS PER MONTH!
