Good Points: Small easy to use - plenty of other Nokia chargers around to borrow. Good basic simple phone for a techno-phobe.

Bad Points: Bit basic now compared to current phones. No polyhponic tones, No camera, no colour screen etc.

General comments: The whole design of the phone is very good, Nokia do seem to have kept to the same way of doing things with their phones and having owned one of their old brick style phones some years ago I quickly worked out how to use the main features. The style is very pleasant to look at and hold, not so light and small that I would lose it, yet tiny enough to fit in my smallest handbags.

Basically I only use a mobile phone to make the occasional call and some text messaging, but my son has a tendency to borrow it to play the games on it so I am guessing they are ok. I leave my phone on almost all the time but only use it to call or text occasionally and I find it only needs charging a couple of times a week. If charged while switched off the battery will be full within one to two hours. More often than not I charge my phone while it is still on as I get calls on it quite often, if you charge this way it does take longer, I usually leave mine charging overnight.

Texting is so simple on a Nokia after having suffered a silly Trium for almost a year! Last night I had an ecstatic phone call from my aged (!) mother informing me that at last she had a mobile phone she could use! Yes, she too has Nokia 3330 now! It is incredibly handy having a Nokia as it means that mostly wherever I am, I can borrow a charger if I am getting a bit flat!

Key features: WAP, chat messaging, animated screen savers, downloadable game packs, vibra feature, voice dialling, picture viewer, predictive text input, new Bumper and Space Impact games, Xpress-on covers

Operating frequency: EGSM 900/1800 networks in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific

Colours: All kinds of covers available from around £5.00 upwards, the average price being £14.99
Ringtones and logos are available free around the web or for the price of a premium rate phone call

Having a vibrate alert is really very handy when I am at work and I have worked out, all by myself, how to change my ringtone so that I get one ring on a quiet setting and vibrate. (Told you it was simple to use!).

I can definitely recommend the Nokia 3330 to all non-techie mobile users, it is very simple to use. Also it seems to be quite strong; I have dropped mine on a number of occasions and can see no damage so far!

Overall, the Nokia 3330 works well for people whose requirement is for cell phone with all the basic features. Moreover, it has the additional benefit of supporting the animated pictures and picture messages. I have stored quite a few good ringtones on it and it works well with monophonic ringtones. Works well with SMS and other power sim functions that my cellular company offers. You can download ringtones, picture messages, operator logos, etc. on this set and it realy satisfies me in this r ...

Nokia 3330 - I have had this phone for 2 years and it still hasn't let me down yet. It is a simple phone but quickly runs low on battery, and the inbox can only hold approximately 4-5 messages. It has nice covers available and is easy to hear. It vibrates and can be switched to silent from general very easily. It is a good phone for somebody who has never had one before and who doesn't expect too many fancy things.

I got my Nokia 3330 almost 2 years ago and I still like it, it does the job. Nothing fancy compared to newer phones and signal can be bad were I live. But I only use it mainly for text and the odd call (emergencies really). Thought about changing it a few times, but so far can't see an as good and easy to use phone.

I bought this Nokia 3330 mobile phone from ebay and it didn't come with a manual but it is soooo easy to use that I didn't need one. The battery lasts for at least five days and there is always a signal so it is a pretty good phone if you want something simple. I got rid of it though becuase I wanted a camera phone and I am definitely regretting it. My new fone takes ages to turn on and there are so many options I don't know how to use all the extra features I paid another hundred quid for! Not ...

My Nokia 3330 mobile phone worked fine for quite a while. now when i switch it off and switch it back on, it starts to ask for my pin code, but then it suddenly displays the message "contact service". is there any way to resolve this problem?

I've kept the Nokia 3330 to the point where I want to destroy it in whatever way possible. It has cut out on me (not battery related) 13 times in 5 months!!! It has now lost all of my numbers and all of the games have turned blank or they have crashed. I have reset it before, but I won't bother next time. It had great games, WAP and it's a good size but it's really let itself down by being prone to constant unreliablity. Not impressed.

I have the Nokia 3330 mobile phone for almost 2 years. For some months it started to switch itself off in the middle of the conversation, but never in standby.
I see that even the more expensive 6310i has the same problem. I tried to move the battery while I was talking and it didn't switch off!

Nhe Nokia 3330 was the first Nokia Mobile Phone i owned, it is very simple to use , has some good features and is an ideal choice of first phone for teenagers (it's easy to get covers and tones for and so it's still a pretty cool phone to have )

had the phone 2years now, still serves me well. battery life goes very quick now though, have to charge it every day or two. the animated screensavers are cool as is the wap.
the phone is dearer than the 3310 because it has wap mainly. not much else different.

i say buy the 3310 as it is cheaper but nearly identical to the 3330.

overall its a solid performer which has the usual nokia features. with no bluetooth or colour screen or mms its getting old. equilivant to a 60 old person. the l ...

The phone would cut out (not battery related) after a few second into a conversation. When receiving SMS there would be ASCI charaters and a message "Some text missing". Many time the phone would not work and give a message "Please insert SIM card" When switching off and back on again and entering the PIN it would work - for a while. Gave it in for "software upgrade" and got it back then it itermittently would not ring for some reason. Still cuts out and still gives the Insert sim card message. ...

I had this phone for well over a year, and like all Nokias, it served me well. The WAP is incredibly easy to use, the battery decent and the predictive text is far superior to that of the Samsung A300 that I have now. It has a lot of very useful features, but it could do with an organiser feature, like the Samsung has. It is also incredibly reliable- I dropped it and got it wet several times, but it still continued to serve me well. However, it is getting a bit old fashioned looking now and is ...

Well, this is a good phone and out of all my previous cell phones i liked it the most. It is value for money. A very cheap set. But there is some what problem with the power system. It shows full-charged battery but eventually goes off indicating empty battery.

I've had my 3330 for a year now and I love it. It's the most reliable phone i've ever had. My only fault is that's it's a bit heavy and doesn't fit comfortably in my jeans pocket. It's never cut off on me at all

I've had this phone for 4 weeks, 3 of which it has been for repair twice and not been fixed. I have always owned Nokia phones, but this is the last one ever. As for Club Nokia, they have been completely useless in trying to help.
