    Good Points: Fantastic hotel. Service was second to none. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and well maintained. Gardens and pool area were immaculate. Food was good, although I have had slightly better. A fabulous hotel!


    Bad Points: Entertainment was not to my liking, although the Germans and the Spanish seemed to love endless fashion shows, Chinese acrobats and naff singers. A good disco would be an improvement.


    General comments: After 6 visits to the Canaries, probably the best hotel we've stayed in. I cannot understand why it is not a 5*. It was brilliant, and I will definitely be returning.

    Throughout the ten days we spent at Riu Palace Meloneras, my wife and myself were amazed at how the staff could give you their full attention at any time of the day or night, letting you know how special you where to them. And yet we also felt part of a big happy family. We will definitely be returning.

    Riu Palace Meloneras is a great place to stay for couples and family whilst holidaying in Gran Canaria. The hotel is very impressive and the staff professional and courteous. I will be returning next year in February when the weather is excellent there and awful in England :)
