Good Points: The initial delivery was delivered in good time.

General comments: When we complained that the cutlery did not fit into the canteen we were informed that we were wrong and should try and force it. When we complained further they said that they were aware there was a problem with the set we had purchased and they were no longer selling it. If we sent it back they would get their customer services to ensure that the cutlery did not fit (they still didn't seem to believe us) and then would inform us of their decision. They informed us that their customer services had confirmed that the cutlery did not fit and that therefore we could choose another product from their site. On 12 March 2008 we ordered a net cutlery set and canteen and were told it would arrive within 4 weeks. Then on 20 May 2008 after it had not arrived we emailed to find out where it was to be told that both of our contacts were no longer with the company and so had to resort to emailing customer services. We were then told that we should not have been told it would be 4 weeks as the standard time would be 8 - 12 weeks. So, we waited, it is now 22 July 2008 (18 weeks after the new order and only 1 month to our 1 year anniversary) and we have STILL NOT received the cutlery yet. I have emailed again to find that our contact is now on holiday getting married (lets hope she isn't having wrapit do the giftlist!!!!) and again had to resort to emailing customer services and starting from scratch to be told that the cutlery has still not been delivered to Wrapit. At no point during any of this was information forthcoming to me without me having to send emails, I did not receive any updates at all at any point. I have therefore demanded a refund of the full amount of the cutlery and canteen outstanding as I would like the gift to be in my home to celebrate my 1 year anniversary. I think this is an awful set up they have. The idea is great and should work really well but they don't seem to have the ability to actually run the system.

I do not recommend using Wrapit. Our guests have spent a vast amount of money and yet we have only received (out of a guest list of over 150 items), only 26 items on our list. We have been told similar things to other disgruntled customers and yet nothing seems to be done. I have rung the suppliers direct and been told they take approx 7 days to deliver which is beggars belief why Wrapit still manage to take months and months to deliver one plate or a baking tin. We recommended various friends t ...

Wrapit claim 99% satisfaction for their service. This is apparently because the survey is taken before you close your list, and before the problems start. Up till that point they are good, the pre-wedding service i cannot fault. But the service afterwards is the worst i have ever encountered. They cited supplier problems as an excuse, yet I can find most of the unavailable gifts from my list online, able to deliver to me by the end of the week. This is an awful service.

All we can say is that we wish we had read some of the reviews on this site before deciding to go with Wrapit for our wedding register. Our wedding was in Dec 07 and we closed our list in early January. It took more than three months for us to get any gifts and our first delivery was only a result of constant chasing up on our part. We have had two more deliveries since then but again only after numerous phone calls and emails to Wrapit and have still received only half our gifts. Last week we g ...

The service before we committed to Wrapit was good. It seemed to offer a more varied choice of gifts than other shops. However since we have attempted to receive our gifts we have had nothing but hassle. We have had to email continuously. We have received no telephone calls from them. We were given £40 compensation vouchers initially but only to spend with Wrapit. It has completely taken the shine off the gifts we have received and I have had to send thank you letters for presents we are ...

Ten months after closing list we are still waiting for a couple of items (a kettle and a stewpot) - neither of which were flagged as being a long lead time on the website. Wrapit do not seem remotely pro-active in chasing up outstanding items. Their response is to offer to refund the cost to us if we send debit card details (this will take 3-5 working days). Not acceptable that Wrapit have had our guests money for almost 12 months and still not provided our presents or offered any compensation. ...

We have so far been waiting 12 weeks with no sign of a delivery date and very bad communication. We have been informed that only one third of our gifts are actually in stock, and several of them have been discontinued after being bought, so this has caused even more delay. Would not recommend if you want your gifts before your first anniversary!

The wedding was on 9th February 2008. We have received the china ordered in June but all the other gifts are still outstanding. I have been informed that some pans are discontinued, they have been replaced by another range but we have to wait again. Very disappointed.

I cannot express how disappointed I am with Wrapit. I was initially very impressed by the site, the show room and the range of gifts. Having closed our list in March following our wedding in Feb, I have been chasing our gifts which have gone over the 12 week deadline. I spoke to someone in June who promised we would have all our gifts BEFORE the end of June. I called on the 27th of June to confirm a delivery date and was informed they only had 5 items in stock. I did not receive any contact to l ...

Been waiting for months (16 weeks so far) to get hold of items readily available in all high street shops or much cheaper on internet. They have no procedure or service guarantee for going over their own 'maximum' 12 weeks delivery time and there's little you can do that keep hassling them. Terrible communication.

I am disappointed with Wrapit's communication, urgency, and solution-orientation. 5 months since closing the list and still haven't received most of my gifts - just emails updating every two weeks with 1 item delivered every two weeks. Taking positive feedback from customers before the list closes, I don't feel there is sufficient after sales service. A complete disappointment and would not recommend.

Initial experience seemed very good: wide choice, helpful service. However several items were unavailable, the delivery date seemed to take forever and was then delayed based on goods not be shipped by suppliers some 4-5 months after they'd been paid for. Not recommended.

Horrendous experience which is still ongoing. We closed our list over 4 months ago and we are still waiting for our gifts. Poor customer service and no commitment as to when our gifts will arrive.

High staff turnover means that no one knows what is going on. We closed our list in October 07 and had to wait about 6 months before we had a delivery (broken items, duplicates included!). Endless phonecalls, frustrations and ended up being compensated £100 and refunded for those items they STILL couldn't source! We are still waiting for some china - we hope it'll be delivered before our 1st year anniversary!!!!

Our wedding list was sent out in October, we were married in December, ordered in February, finally gave up waiting for our remaining gifts in June.We were told that the gifts would take up to 3 months which shocked us as these items are available in any department store you can find. We had no choice to accept it though but then the gifts arrived a couple of items at a time.We finally got to the point that we refused to wait any longer and we are now in the process of receiving promises of a re ...

We were married in September 2007, and like the other person who recently reviewed, we have had no end of problems with our deliveries from wrappit. From items being discontinued, to suppliers supposedly letting them down, a flood at their warehouse (!)... the list goes on! Final straw has been when we ordered an item that they guaranteed delivery of this week... and needless to say, it's not here and apparently won't be for over another month! My advice, .... go to John Lewis!

Lovely people good service. Presents were delivered in 7 weeks with champagne, by a really nice delivery guy who carried all the presents into the kitchen for me (i was only 4 weeks pregnant at the time so don't think that was the reason!) Highly recommended!

Wrapit have been such a disappointment. DO NOT be taken in by the pre wedding service. Once they have your guests money they don't care at all how long it takes. We have been waiting over six months for the majority of our gifts and STILL haven't been given a final delivery date. On the verge of asking for a refund.
