    What a fab shop Elizabeth of York is. I was made to feel special every time i went in. The staff appreciated that it was a big part of my biggest day and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thanks to them i looked like a princess on my wedding day and have recommended them to a number of friends who are getting married.

    i would really reccomend elizabeth of york to any girl looking for an enjoyable time. they couldn't do enough for my sister and me. my sister elaine bought her dress last year and we were so pleased with the service i didn't even look in any other shop. the assistant who looked after me was brilliant

    I bought my dress from elizabeths because the whole atmosphere was so special. the staff were very friendly, and because it is mostly family who work there my mum and i felt like family when we finally picked up my dress. i can't praise them enough for taking all the time they did even over the fittings nothing was too much trouble. they made a potentially stressful task very easy and enjoyable.

    I bought my dress at elizabeths because the choice was amazing no other shop offered anything like it, the staff were very helpful and the assistant actually choose my dress for me, she knew from talking to me what i wanted. the after service was excellent too and the alterations were completed on time and to the highest standard. as my mother will tell you i am very fussy but the staff in elizabeths were so friendly i didn't stress at all and they kept my dress until the day before my wedding s ...

    Elizabeth of York - what a lovely large spacious shop it was lovely to walk about freely in the beautiful wedding dresses, there must be well over a hundred wedding dresses to choose from in all sizes. The staff we very nice and supported and nothing was too much trouble for them, they are very patient. The dressmakers were lovely girls and very experienced in what they were doing. I would recommend this wedding shop to any brides to be.

    I would just like to say that Elizabeth of York is a fabulous wedding shop. My mum and i went to every wedding shop going this side of yorkshire and this shop was the best by along way. the staff were very understanding and patient because i am very fussy but i finally found the dresss of my dreams in Eliabeth of York. i went for two fitting the seamstresses were lovely girls and did my alterations very well . i would recomend this shop for all you brides to berecomended shop

    Elizabeth of York has the most fantastic dresses to choose from.

    My dress is great I can't wait to wear it.
    Nice people, just had my final fit, the alterations all finished and to say I lost 2st and the dress was way to big at the start you can't even tell it fits like a glove roll on 31st.

    Elizabeth of York was nice, very friendly staff, very helpful, a good selection of dresses. dressmakers were spot on and did the alterations expertly. Couldnt have ask for better service anywhere.

    Elizabeth of York wedding shop, North Yorkshire, is well worth a visit. I bought my wedding dress from elizabeth of york , the moment I waik in the shop i was made to feel very special, the staff were very pleasant and very helpful they help me choose my perfect dress without any pressure, the dressmakers did a excellant job with my alterations , I am quite small so there was rather alot to be taken up on the hem and they did a excellant job .I would recommend this wedding shop to anyone , ...

    Great choice of dresses. In house seamstresses who did a fantastic job of altering my dress to fit, nothing was too much of a problem! On the whole i'd say they are great value for money. The staff were so helpful from start to finish. Every time i went in there it felt like i was visiting friends. The shop is so spacious and as it's on the first floor you don't feel like passers by are looking in on you!

    Fantastic choice of dresses. Friendly service even to the final fit. I needed alterations and evening tapes which where an extra cost and done to perfection.
    It was a pleasure to shop at Elizabeth of York. My wedding day was fantastic and my dress was out of this world. Oh the lucky sixpence was a great gift.

    Well worth a visit I would recommend Elizabeth of York to all future brides.

    When i first went to Elizabeth of York to get my wedding dress they were lovely and very helpful and gave me lots of their time and advice....however that seemed to change once I'd paid the full amount for my dress.

    I later found them to be rude and unhelpful and they apparently couldn't really be bothered with my last dress fitting, and were too busy, even though I'd booked an appointment. They kept adding charges for alterations which was never discussed with me and to top it off after I'd pa ...
