Good Points: Handles & feels like a SLR. Images up to A4 size are crystal clear. Sturdy & robust. I would have said unbreakable but didn't want to tempt fate. Works well off the preset but has plenty of features for the enthuisiasts as well. ISO speed, good range of aperture settings & much more. I would be inclined to say don't hesitate at the current price of around £400 as I paid £650 when it was practically just on the market & was not disappointed.
Bad Points: Question mark over it holding it's value but then again what piece of modern technology does? Is that me just sounding bitter? I really can't fault it other than to say it may feel a bit heavy to someone used to smaller equipment.
General comments: The Kodak DC4800 digital camera handles & feels like a SLR.

Looks and feels like a real camera. Produces very high quality images and the menu system and controls are extremely easy to use. Would suit anyone moving up to a high quality digital who has been using either a compact zoom or SLR used almost always in auto focus and programme mode. It may lack some of the mystique and functionality sought by the keenest enthusiasts (I would recommend my Nikon Coolpix for that) but for ease of use and capturing quality images it is hard to beat.
