Me and my family has been to Moon Palace 5 times (Nizuc side 2 times and Sunrise side 3 times). Personally I think the sunrise side is better because it is nicer and newer, but what is good on the Nizuc side is that you have the kids club. What we did is that we took a shuttle in the morning from sunrise to Nizuc so we had the better hotel but also the kids club. But both hotels are really clean and luxurious. I have seen a lot of complaints about the food but I find the food is amazing and you d ...

We went to the Moon Palace for our Honeymoon in 2004, from the minute we arrived in the Hotel Lobby we were treated like Royalty, we were greeted with Champagne before being shown to our luxurious room. Extremely Friendly Staff, Beautiful Rooms, Excellent Food, Perfect Location and Amazing Pools with swim up bars. The holiday was amazing and we hope to return this year.

Our room was breathtaking - spacious, clean, fresh, and beautiful. Its balcony was approximately 10 yards from the beach. While booking, we briefly considered a lower priced room without an ocean view... but upon arrival were glad we opted to spend the few extra $$ as there are no words to amply describe waking up to a spectacular ocean view each morning.
Many reviews we read prior to booking warned of the amount of walking that was involved from getting from one side of the resort to the ot ...

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. We stayed in the Mayan riviera/Cancun every Christmas. This past year we stayed at Cancun, Moon Palace Hotel. We thought everything looked immaculate at first, the rooms were beautiful the service was great, but then we started to wake up with bites! We just ignored them initially thinking that they were mosquito bites or sand flea bites. After a few days we were covered in these unbelievably itchy raised welts covering our ankles, calves ...

Myself an my wife just got back from the Moon Palace after a weeks holiday there. It really is an amazing place. I love Mexico anyway. We got a good deal through mexicanholiday.co.uk and the owner of the company actually called us when we were there, to make sure everything was OK. You can't beat service like that and coupled with the fact the this hotel is simply out of this world, I'm really finding it hard to say a bad thing about the whole holiday. Basically, if you go on holiday to Cancun s ...

I actually posted a review about Moon Palace before about 2 years ago, after we had the pleasure of being there for the 2 weeks of our beautiful honeymoon dream.
We visited again 2 years later (Sep 06), just before our second anniversary, as due to work commitments we couldn't actually be there for then but still booked it as an anniversary holiday cos it was!
Once again, it was that bit of heaven we'd remembered from last time we visited, only much much better. We were a bit worried abou ...

My Family just came back from a trip to Cancun where we stayed at the Moon Palace. Our stay was for 9 nights. Our party consisted of my husbands parents and our two children ages 16 and 13. The cost for this vacation was around $12,000 USD which included the airfare. My husband and I took $1,040 in spending money to pay for scuba, golf, ATV rides and incidentals. We also took $100 in singles to use for tipping at the hotel, of which the bank gave me brand new serial numbered singles. Our Moon Pa ...

The Moon Palace hotel in Cancun is fantastic, and just like what you see in the brochures. I have stayed at this hotel twice, and we were married there in August 2005. I have written a 35 page report on my visit, which includes the hotel amenities, restaurants, trips, and getting married etc. You can find this review on the worlds largest internet auction site (can't name it on here sorry) and search under Moon Palace Hotel. Thanks.

We returned home from the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun on April 28th, 2006. It was super fabulous. I can't believe that folks would actually stand in line for a buffet (we call them hog bars in Nashville) when there were 4 star al a carte restaurants with plenty of seating available. Come on people; throw on a pair of Dockers and Polo shirt and you are in. Others packed a Styrofoam box and rushed back to their rooms because they hadn't powdered their cheeks. The oriental and Italian ...

My husband and I visited the Moon Palace first in September 2003 and then again in August 2005, when we actually got married, taking 11 family and friends with us. The fact that we returned to this hotel speaks for itself, it is fantastic and is perfect for honeymooners.
The hotel, amenities, restaurants, weather, swimming pools, wedding was just amazing, and exactly like what you see in all the pictures and brochures.
I have written a 35 page report on my experiences at the hotel, which ...

Loved It! Our wedding was like a fairytale... and the honeymoon was like walking into heaven. It definately wasn't a dream, it's there, it's real... i would recommend Moon Palace Hotel to anyone.
The hotel has everything you could wish for. If you fancy a trip into town the taxi's are actually a fixed price, which isn't expensive and we considered it brilliant. But only went into town once as had everything we needed at the complex.
Maid service pretty much 3 times a day, fridge refilled ...

Cancun, Moon Palace Hotel - This place truly made us feel like we were the king & queen. This was our honeymoon and one that we will never forget. Everyone there makes you feel right at home and it did not matter what we asked for, their same response was, "It's my pleasure." Such nice and wonderful people. If you have never experienced a trip like this, it is truly worth your time and money. Not one morsel of food or drink was bad. I feel very fortunate that we were able to make this trip ...

Cancun, Moon Palace Hotel - Food was available all day with an excellent choice from all round the world. Evening entertainment was OK.
Look out for the towel displays in the rooms every day, the other half couldn't stop taking pictures.

Moon Palace Hotel had excellent rooms. The service and food was great and there was a good range of poo;s. Be aware of the Time share - go to the meeting and get it out of the way - its worth a free game of golf, but it is a hard sell - be strong! They dont bother you after this. Evening entertainment was poor.

Cancun, Moon Palace Hotel is the best all inclusive hotel that I have been to and would recommend to anyone. There are 10 restaurants, many of which are a la carte, the biggest pool in Mexico, jacuzzi in every room, service is second to none.
Everything you could wish for and more

Cancun, Moon Palace Hotel - Beautiful resort. Food was great. Accomodations were 5 star except for the jacuzzi and the fact that the staff could not speak enough English to help us and fix the problem. Golf course is not worth $250 for tee time. They are always trying to sell you. They should leave their paying patrons alone and let them vacation.
