On reviews I had read before staying at the Astoria I did not know what to expect, all I can say I found the hotel to be excellent. The room we had faced a pedestrian walk way & with room having double glazing was very quiet. Room had a small balcony which you could see St Stephens Church from & hotel was ideally placed to see many of Vienna's places of interest & was only a few minuets walk to train station for places a bit further afield. I found the staff to be friendly & courteous. We stayed there on a B&B basis & found was a wide range of food you could choose from at the buffet bar. In conclusion, on my experiences I would not have any qualms on recommending the hotel to any one.
