    Good Points: We have stayed at Porta Nova 4 times so its good. Rooms very clean and have air conditioning, safe and fridge.
    All staff are very helpful and polite. Wonderful views and so near town.


    General comments: We really enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice. Loved the bacon. Tables outside are very pleasant in the morning. Staff clear away immediately to ensure more people can sit down.
    So good we are going again this year.

    We loved our stay at the Porta Nova hotel. The staff were excellent, really friendly, the food was divine and catered for all tastes including vegetarian. We had our 7 month old baby with us and the Portuguese love children, they did all they could to help, nothing was too much trouble.
    I would go back tomorrow given half the chance.
    Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

    The hotel Porta Nova is the best in the area of Tavira. The staffs consistently go beyond and above the call of duty. Whilst visiting the Hotel Porta Nova I became ill (nothing to do with the resort!) and they were honestly concerned and looked after me very well. They are caring, kind, concerned and considerate. The variety of food is amazing, there is a different menu every night and there are local specials as well as traditional food available, although the choice for vegetarians is extremel ...
