    Good Points: The apartments were really lovely - we were overlooking the pool - the maids came in every day which was great - the complex was very clean and well maintained and you couldn't get better reception staff - they were helpful and friendly.


    Bad Points: The only down point was we were too far away from any of the towns - they do put on a courtesy bus every day but we found the last time was 4pm and it was to early - you have to get a cab or hire a car. To give you a guide: Alvor was 1/2 hour walk away. Also there weren't many young English People, but that may have been the time of year; we went at the end of August.


    General comments: All in all Bemposta Apartments were a very nice clean place to stay when we went to Algarve, and the staff were really friendly. Alvor is 1/2 hour walk away from the apartments - there is a huge supermarket nearby but again it is quite away from the complex - there is a mini market down the road though.
