    Good Points: Wonderful family-run hotel. Clean rooms, excellent views. Brilliant beach bar and the guy who runs it makes the best bar snacks in town with an authentic Greek flavour. Best part of beach in Argassi if you like it nice and quiet. No swimming pool but with the beautiful Ionian sea just meters away who needs one?


    Bad Points: Rooms without sea view may be slightly noisy due to fairly busy road. Breakfasts were a little mundane.


    General comments: Really enjoyed our stay back in June and met some wonderful people who were staying at other apartments but came down to 'our beach' every day. A truly unique experience as we felt almost like part of the family. We shall definitely be returning to this lovely 'simply Greece' hotel.

    We were pleasantly surprised with our last minute booking to Zakynthos, having seen a couple of poor reviews. Despite a delay from Luton we arrived at Zakynthos Airport and found it was only a ten minute taxi ride to the Argassi Beach Hotel. Check the cost of the taxi before you get in it, it should cost approx 14-15euros but one unscrupulous driver attempted to charge us 81 euros!!! When you return home get the hotel to book the taxi for you. We were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and th ...
