    alexander hotel was lovely it is the best hotel i seen in zante it is close to the beach bout a 5 minute walk. The strip is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel there are lots ov supermarkets and bars right next to the hotel. it is a hotel for the age range 18-30 so if you have young children or you want to relax i wouldnt recommend this hotel as most the people are stil up at 9 in the mornin from the previous nite and can b quite loud. i loved it the hotel is very basic and nothing special but if your a youngster that doesnt really matter. the food is nice and isnt that expensive. the staff at the hotel was really nice n friendly could be slow at times at reception but other than that i cant really say anything bad about it appart from you have to pay for air conditioning and pay for the fridge if you want to use it and the shower you have in your room is extremly small.

    Alexander Hotel is a brilliant hotel very friendly staff always smiling and talking to you at the bar offered a few cheeky drinks for free etc...rooms were nice n clean when we came back from a day out...hotel is definately for 18-30 ..im 20 and it was the best atmosphere everyone with there usic on and stil awake and socialising at all hours massive pool and pretty lights at night time good food etc....would highly reccomend it for a clubbing holiday x

    we go back every year we have been going 4 ,16 years. the alexander hotel is near beach and shops and tavernas. the staff are very good rooms are very basic the man who owns the hotel is a very nice person food is good and you get lots of it. only downside I find is there are a lot of youngsters but that is what holidays are 4 if you have young children I find it can get very noisey at night.

    If you have booked to Zante please cancel now! I left 9 days early ebcause i hated it so much.
    In our room we did have a hose, no shower or bath, a hose to wash with, which broke and would not turn off resulting in our room being flooded on many occasions( hotel staff didn't seem to care) no fridge ethier, didn't get a kitchen even though we were self catering. And breakfast consists of bread and cheese! It is no were near the strip as advertised, a 10 minute walk away. Food and drink is extre ...

    The Alexander hotel is a lovely hotel and i would definitely recommend staying there. We are booking again for next year!
    The bar staff were lovely as are the receptionists and the general staff around the hotel. The food is lovely and is reasonably priced. The pools are gorgeous and its such a great atmosphere.     If I were to return to Laganas, I would definitely book into the Hotel Alexander again. The new pool was immaculate, and the eating facilities around the pool were open until late in the evening, which is a bonus when you have two hungry kids!

    Laganas, Alexander Hotel - I would definitely recommend this hotel. There is a new pool that was opened 2005, lovely and great snack bar. The staff, especially the bar staff, were fantastic, they really made our holiday and the bar is open till 7am. Rooms were basic but very clean with the maids coming in everyday more or less.     Laganas, Alexander Hotel - This is an ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT hotel. I would recommend this to others. I wouldnt go to any other hotel on the island. The food is great and value for money. The people are friendly and always have a smile no matter what time of day it is. The pools are beautiful and clean.     Alexander Hotel is one of the best European holidays I have ever experienced. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Suitable for all age ranges and situated in a great location so that if you want to experience all the night life it is only a short way away but not on your door step. I can't praise this place enough and I will defiantly be here again some time soon.
