    Good Points: Clean hotel. Towels changed regularly. Friendly staff. Price of drinks reasonable for a hotel. Nice outdoor area looking onto beach which is very close by.


    Bad Points: Food was really bad. Had to eat out from the Tuesday night onwards. Breakfast was borderline bad, we also ate this out the last 2 days. Be warned about the luggage scales, they read about 3kg lower than the airport ones. The no smoking area has a smoking part right next to it, which defeated the idea completely.


    General comments: If you are a young person, don't expect modern entertainment at the
    Aqua Beach Hotel (bingo 2 nights), but Magalouf is a short walk away (10mins). Some good restaurants close by. If you get the chance and can afford it, go to the Pirate show, really good entertainment.

    We went to this Hotel this year. I must admit just before we went I read the reviews and thought we were in for a rubbish holiday. However we were pleasantly surprised. Although the Hotel was basic it provided everything we needed for our holiday. The Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and large and were cleaned regularly by the maids.     Absolute nightmare. The hotel ruined our holiday, we hated being there, on arrival our room was so dirty we went out to the spar shop and brought some cleaning gear and cleaned it ourselves before unpacking The food was poor, entertainment was poor, the pool was manky and never used it, we went out in the day and made sure we stopped out, the last 3 days we skipped breakfast and evening meal and ate out, most people were up in arms about the whole situation there and you could feel the tension i ...

    I would totally recommend this hotel and location at first glance the hotel didn't look much but after checking in, seeing our room and having our evening meal and entertainment my opinion was never judge a book by its cover.

    Amazing holiday, will definitely be returning! Hotel lovely, yes there were a few things that we could have done without, but hey, we made the most of it! Read this for the best, most honest review you will find on the net!!

    Stayed at the Aqua Beach Hotel in June 2008!!
    Thought the Hotel could have done with a good cleaning & hoovering.
    Thought the First Choice rep totally useless!!
    Manager was co-operative & helpful.

    The Aqua Beach Hotel restaurant, bar staff, maids are really friendly. Receptionists OK too. The breakfasts were really good, evening meals not bad - to be fair there was a lot of choice. Location from beach excellent. Air conditioning was fine and was needed! (25th July). I would return to this hotel next year, as long as it was the right price, I found it OK.

    I have just come back from staying at the Aqua Beach Hotel for two week in July. I was very happy that the food was of an excellent standard and the hotel should be given a rating of 4 stars, everyone from the Manager, bar/dining staff to the hotel rep was very welcoming and they all seemed to enjoy themselves. Hi to everyone that was there from 14th-28th. I would definitely go back next year.

    I think the Aqua Beach Hotel needs a good clean up and security on the door - once the management gave a key to a young girl and it was for a different room and they entered a room with tow elderly ladies in. We were most upset this could happen. The entertainment was good.

    Make no mistake about it this is not a three star hotel. It is a poorly run two star hotel in my opinion. While our room was clean enough we did not want to spend any more time in the hotel than we had to.
    One evening we booked a table at the rooftop italian restaurant, while ordering from the menu we were told there was no pasta and no pizza.     The hotel in general was okay, very old fashioned though, the food was repetitive slop, the lift was dirty, there was no entertainment during the day, every morning the maid would wake us to make the bed.

    Really good holiday, reps were amazing. Nice pool, amazing food, great entertainment, right by the beach, amazing clubs near by.

    The location of the hotel is excellent but that is the only good point of this hotel. Our first night in the restaurant was our last, could not face another night of their food as it wasn't the stuff I liked. The room was not the cleanest and the air conditioning was useless. We would never stay in this hotel again even if it was free.

    But all in all this is a gorgeous hotel and some of the staff treated us great they tell you what you can do in the area they book you taxis and make sure yo get in them alright.

    This hotel is in a fantastic location. All the staff made you welcome, it was only let down by the food. With very little choice it was never hot, all the sweets where very low on a table and in very close to people waiting in queues for soups etc. Breakfast staff topping up food behind food counter did not wear protective clothing,ie chef clothing. Also same staff seen collecting plates etc from tables. No food menu displayed daily.

    If you like your food, please, please, do not go to this hotel. Unfortunately, I read the reviews after I paid for the holiday so we left expecting the worst and as far as the food was concerned, we got it. I really do not know where to begin as everything was so awful. The kitchen hasn't a clue. The cold meats & salads just lie there, unrefrigerated, likewise the desserts, which were awful just to look at. A microwave sits on a shelf. Never quite figured that one out.     Not somewhere I would ever stay again or recommend. Personally we did not like Palma Nova but cannot blame Hotel for that.

    I cannot believe this hotel has a 3 star rating, I think it's disgusting to have to sit at a table, which has food stains from previous diners. The food was either over cooked or underdone, either way it was not nice. We ate out after the first 2 days. I do not think I should have to clear my own plate away, which a lot of people were doing simply because they are so short staffed. No wonder they did not smile a lot, the hotel is not very clean, we never once saw the stairs been cleaned, they we ...

    If you do a cruise and stay with Island Cruises do not pick this hotel as your second week. You are better off staying on the ship.
