Good Points: Hotel very clean rooms basic but clean

Bad Points: Make sure you take some protection from moseys as there are a fair few around.

General comments: I have just returned from a ten day break at the Rey don Jamie, on the whole I would go back to this hotel but not in October as the weather is not quite so good, food very good, rooms clean, entertainment was very good and staff very helpful.

This was our 4th visit to this hotel the Rey Don Jaime and we were a bit disappointed this time. The hotel was very clean and staff very friendly, but we thought the food was not as good. Much the same choice each evening. Gentlemen were requested to wear long trousers in the evening, but this didn't happen, some looked like they had come straight from the beach, I also found football shirts off putting, lets face it a nice t-shirt is far cheaper than a football shirt. Nothing against football, ...

Pool and rooms were kept clean but I don't recommend you to go during the low season because of the Spanish pensioners.

The hotel was mainly populated by Spanish pensioners who were very rude.

I booked a holiday to the Don Jaime Hotel in Majorca at the end of August 2006, and was hoping to get quite a good deal considering that I paid £700 for the accommodation and flight.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself was unrecognisable when we pulled up outside. It looked nothing like the photos on the internet. In fact, it was completely different.

The pool was very small, but a good temperature (not too cold.)
The staff could not understand a word of English, apart from vodka and ...

We are definitely going back to this part of Spain next year. Although I am sorry to say we will not be staying in the Don Jaime. The hotel was clean and maids in every day but that was about it. Pool was not dirty but it could have been a lot cleaner. Don Jaime is in an excellent location for beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately the poor food, lack of entertainment and a lot of exercise when the lifts in hotel brake down, which may I add is every other day. Lets this hotel down bad ...

Myself, my sister and my mum and dad stayed at the Rey Don Jaime Hotel in Santa Ponsa for a week last year in May, on a half board basis, and we thought the place was lovely! The food was excellent and offered a great choice; Lovely carved meats.

The accommodation was very good with the option to hire a fridge and kettle, which we did, and it wasn't too expensive either.

Very nice pool. Staff are really friendly and helpful. This was our first time on a half board basis. Everything about ...

The Don Jaime Hotel is not a bad hotel, but I wouldn't recommend Eurohotels. Friends of ours have booked with them this year. They paid for the holiday in January, but they took the price of the holiday off their credit card again in April. Still waiting to get the money back. I wonder how many more people this has happened to.

The hotel was excellent for its star rating. It is a 3 star, that blags as a 4 star.

I went with my family, and took a friend along with me. This was my second visit to the hotel/resort. Last year I went with 2 friends, and needless to say, both times I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The hotel is superb! The resort is superb! The staff in the hotel were excellent! As far as night receptionists go, they are a great laugh! myself and several friends, enjoyed coming back from a night out at ...

Rey Don Jaime Hotel is a great hotel that offers very good value for money. All parts of the hotel kept very clean including stairwells (If you choose not to take a lift). The food was first class, with a great selection that would satisfy almost everyone. Dinner time could be a little hectic as everyone staked a claim on a dinner table (these are not pre-allocated to rooms), so I would recommend going to dinner around 45 minutes after the dining room opened, to avoid the initial rush.

    This h ...

The Don Jaime Hotel was lovely (as stated above), and I was surprised at how Cala Millor had expanded from the last time I visited the resort 3 years ago. There are plenty of friendly family bars and I would fully recommend *Weatherspoons- the owners are just great, they will do anything for you to make sure you are enjoying yourself (with playstation2, pool table, large TV and amusement machines there is something to keep every one occupied there! *Tuck In is a great family FUN pub, with life a ...

Santa Ponsa, Rey Don Jaime Hotel - I have just returned from this hotel after a two week break (ending 1 June) after reading about it on previous web sites. I was not disappointed. The Hotel is very clean, the staff extremely friendly and there is a wide variety to choose from the evening meal menus, although this is based on buffet style. The quality is ok but you must remember they are catering for over 400 people. For entertainment they had a very able staff of 3 when we arrived but this redu ...
