Was delighted to find that since my last visit 4 years ago not a thing had changed. Apart from Mcdonalds closing which is no great loss to this little paradise. The room was cleaned with fresh towels daily during our 10 day stay contrary to other reports on other sites & for a 2 star hotel I was more than delighted with everything. Friendly staff, lovely fresh food.
The only thing I missed was the movies being on during the day when you want to step out the sun for an hour or 2.
Can't wait to go back to beach star hotel

Very good place to have a relaxing holiday, nice sedate walk into the centre where abundance of cafes and tavernas to suit everyones taste. Very helpful staff (especially when taxi to the airport didn't turn up) Will be back!

Good for a quiet holiday as the hotel is near the beach and away from the noise of the town. Watch out for the traffic as it is busy with hardly any pavements.

Yes it's basic, yes the breakfast is minimal (tea and toast) and yes it's got no air conditioning, but what do you expect for a 2/3* - it is in Greece! People shouldn't pay the price they did and expect the Ritz! It's a great place, clean, the pool is nice (and there's always a sunbed free), it's on the beach, it's away from the annoying "strip" setup for us English (although if you do fancy a night out, the happy hours on cocktails are long and the measures strong), the staff were really helpfu ...

I have just returned from a week in Sidari with my girlfriend and we had a lovely time. The Beach Star may be a little basic but however it is well located within the resort, just a few minutes from the main area of bars clubs and restaurants but just far enough away for a nice quite holiday if that's what you're after. We had a great time and some very relaxing days spent by the well maintained pool area with the beach just a few yards away. Plus we had some great nights out in the main strip ...

7 Years on, I still remember The Beach Star Hotel in Sidari as my favourite holiday. Very friendly staff, who we kept in touch with for a long time after. We always missed breakfast, but they still made us coffee when we finally got up! They even threw a Greek night party for us - danced on the tables!! Even though there was a group of us (14 of us, from ages 2 to 32) the staff made our holiday one to remember.

The Beach Star hotel provides couples (old and young) and families the perfect opportunity to have a great holiday. We'll be going back soon.

Beach Star hotel will not be what you are expecting. It is overpriced, and the general accommodation is in need of refurbishment. More youth hostel than hotel! Sorry.

But the hotel staff are lovely.

I enjoyed my holiday so much that i'm booking the Beach Star hotel for my holiday in 2006.

This time I will be there for 2 weeks. 1 week just wasn't long enough. It was a great hotel for families. All staff made us feel very welcome and were always full of smiles. I didn't want to leave!

Breakfast was toast and jam with the cups of tea I miss when I go away from home. You could even have a great fry up, just ask!

The size of the room depends on what you have booked but you only have ...

July 2004 was my second visit to the Beach Star. Having used the apartments the previous year I decided to try the hotel. BOTH experiences were very positive. The staff remembered my children and I from 2003.The welcoming feeling and helpful manner of the staff was brilliant. The standards of hygiene were excellent, as well as the thoroughness of the daily maid service making my holiday as restful as it could be. THE LOCATION IS IDEAL FOR FAMILES. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town cent ...
