    Good Points: Friendly staff, good food, plenty of variety and more than adequate quantities (both breakfasts and evening meals). Adequate (but not luxurious) rooms, pleasant bar. Good value for money overall. Reasonable standard of cleanliness.


    Bad Points: Evening entertainments could have been better. Did not use roof top pool due to weather. Indoor pool in basement was used, but the changing rooms could have been nicer - lick of paint required, at least!


    General comments: Excellent location just off Sliema front. Very handy for buses to all points on the island. Buses are, to say the least, "interestingly antique", but they are very regular and inexpensive. Road surfaces throughout the island are much in need of improvement. Found most locals to be charming and very helpful.

    Sliema, Park Hotel - The hotel was situated in a good position, central on Tower Road but a short walk would take you to the Strand which is the other main road in Sliema. The staff were helpful and polite, the apartment was fairly basic and on the point of needing upgrading. The view from the room was awful with very little sun. We were charged for amenities, i.e., water and electricity which left a bad taste at the end of your holiday. I would not recommend this hotel.
