Excellent location just off Sliema front. Very handy for buses to all points on the island. Buses are, to say the least, "interestingly antique", but they are very regular and inexpensive. Road surfaces throughout the island are much in need of improvement. Found most locals to be charming and very helpful....

Sliema, Park Hotel - The hotel was situated in a good position, central on Tower Road but a short walk would take you to the Strand which is the other main road in Sliema. The staff were helpful and polite, the apartment was fairly basic and on the point of needing upgrading. The view from the room was awful with very little sun. We were charged for amenities, i.e., water and electricity which left a bad taste at the end of your holiday. I would not recommend this hotel....

This review clearly applies to the RCI time share flats which are attached to and accessed via the hotel. The reviewer was clearly upset that there were additional "utilities charges" applicable to his flat. Obviously, one is not charged such items in connection with a hotel room.
