    Good Points: Great location in St. Paul's Bay & convenient to the town. Clean rooms. The majority of the staff were very pleasant.


    Bad Points: Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Our room was basic, which was fine, but the aircon did not work at all. When we complained we were told that this was the same for everyone in the hotel and that there was a fault. Receptionist acted like she couldn't care less (however, this was not the lovely receptionist who checked us in).


    General comments: This was a perfectly located hotel for our stay - my best mate was getting married in St. Paul's church, Bugibba, and it was literally on the doorstep. The room was comfortable, but we were extremely disappointed that the aircon wasn't working and all we had was a fan in the middle of the room, which just re-circulated the warm air.

    I would recommend the hotel based on its value for money - but check the aircon is working, as it was extremely warm in the hotel, and this was the end of May 2008!

    We transferred to Meditteranea from a hotel in Sliema. Although we liked Sliema better, the Mediterranea was such a wonderful hotel that we will return there, instead of Sliema.

    We were given a 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms, and full kitchen, and also included a breakfast. Have no idea why they were so nice to us, unless it's because they get so few Americans. Anyway, it was the most delux lodging we ever had, and at a very low price. We would go back now, but the US Dollar is so ...
