The Amphitriti hotel and studios are placed off the main road on the way to the beach, so in a quieter location than many of the others. The family that own the hotel are always available if there are any problems. Our room was a a self catering room and had a 2 ring electric hob, toaster, fridge and all the necessary pots and pans. worst place we've stayed in in over 20 years of visiting greek islands at least twice a year. Worst sheets and towels - stiff and smelt like sick. The frostiest Greek staff ever met. If you dont drink or eat at the apartments facilities you are made to feel like a criminal. The one accom would never return to in all the years. Through many years of greek island visits have many Greek friends who have even come over to stay with us in UK. Have never in all our lives met any Greeks like the... (read more)

Just returned from this Hotel which has Studio Apartments.

Fab location, really lovely room with all facilities. Large balcony (not much in the way of plates and glasses tho.) Really lovely, clean room although towels were not white although clean (we took our own anyway.)

2 minutes to fantastic beach, 5 (walking) to main street where there are restaurants, nightlife etc although the location of the hotel was quiet. Would go back no problem.

Great position between the beach and the main street. Family are fantastic. Food is good. Rooms are very clean. A great place to stay. Shower cubicles are a bit small and awkward to get into. All the staff make you feel at home, the pool area is nice with sun loungers around. We had a great Greek night (read more)

This holiday was my husband and myself, and this was the first time we had been to one of the Greek islands.

I would recommend the Amphitriti to anyone wanting a quieter holiday, 2 mins from the beach and 5 mins from the shops and restaurants. We found the owners to be very helpful, polite and fun. The bar staff were great (Costas & Luca) and ended up in the pool most days along with the kids and any adult who acted like a kid - great fun. We had a few meals from the pool bar, all very... Pefkos, Amphitriti Hotel - The accomodation was good, cleaners everyday, decent size rooms. We were, however, facing a building site, which certainly was not the best view and the noise was not very pleasent when we where in our rooms, but we stayed out most of the time. The power was also cut off at one point for half the day, which I presume was due to the building. The pool was decent, normal size, a lot of chlorine and very cloudy which was a shame. You were unlucky this year as the building work was not there last year, this year we didn’t hear a thing from the building site, having been there 2 years running and booked for 2005 I cant see what this person is moaning about, the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly and like having a laugh, don’t be put off with this persons comments, I highly recommended it and I reckon 99.9 percent of other people who have stayed there would as well. also salmonella would not hit you that quick, the food I ate was perfect, take that from a ex chef.

i have stayed at the amphitriti once before and am returning this year.the people who own and run this place are very friendly and helpful,the food and the bar area were first class so i would also recommend not taking too much notice of the review.

Just returned yesterday and felt had to comment on this review as couldnt't believe what I read. The hotel is fantastic, so clean and the family, bar staff (esp. Kostas!) and cleaners were all lovely. They also put on entertainment - greek night and toga party which were fab, everyone ends up in pool at end of night! No building work there this year. The hotel made our holiday and we met people there who return year after year so cant be that bad. I will definitely return to Pefkos and the hotel hopefully very soon.

I've literally returned from Rhodes in the last couple of days having stayed at Amphitriti. I thought compelled to add my comments on reading this review.

<br>Its the second time Ive been to Amphitriti and I think the place and the people are fantastic. Katerina and Eric who run Amphititri certainly do know how to treat guests and as we regularly ate there during the day I can say the food was good.
<br>
<br>The place is convenient for the beach, if you ever make it there, because we couldnt get our kids away from the pool, which was certainly not cloudy. In fact they have a pool cleaner who comes every night to ensure the pool is ready for the next days fun and frivolity.

I can't believe how much this person has critised the Amphtriti. It was the best holiday i have ever been on, my boyfriend and i went on a last minute holiday which was allocated on arrival so we were a bit nervous about the accommodation. But when we got there we couldn't believe it, the hotel was fabulous, rooms cleaned everyday, staff are VERY friendly, the beach is just a two minute walk and the town is just a 5 minute walk, with an abundance of bars and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to couples and families who are looking for a relaxing holiday in a friendly atmosphere.

Can't believe what I just read on the Amphitriti, we stayed in May 2005 both my husband and myself thought the service was second to none, they were all very friendly and the food was very good. We have in fact booked to go back in September 2006.
