Iceland has a brilliant system and good items in stock. With an amazing delivery service sometimes the service can get very packed which is not so good for some, but overall very good indeed!… Read Full Review

“Great products and low prices! What else do you need?”

Written on: 29/05/2013 by Britainboy (23 reviews written)

Iceland is a great little supermarket which serve it's purpose as a small local shop much better than most do! I like especially that prices are just simply very low rather than having to buy 3 of something to get the promotion. They only really do these promotions on products like the mini party snacks which you buy in larger quantities anyway. I also like how some of their home brand products have seen an increase in the quantity to add value. For example I saw 9 Jam Tarts for £1 the other… Read Full Review

“Love the home delivery”

Written on: 19/09/2012 by raogbole (1 review written)

I find the home delivery very useful , things are often cheaper here , and if I spend more than 30 pounds , I get delivery free :) Only thing is , some products I would need , are not available in store , and there's not much choice at times, which then means that I have to go to sainsburys to get the other products ( veg , etc ) that I need… Read Full Review

“I suppose it depends on which Iceland store you happen...”

Written on: 10/06/2004 by yvonnecollier (4 reviews written)

I suppose it depends on which Iceland store you happen to buy from. I have 2 local stores, 1 is tiny, dirty, has narrow isles, staff are always talking in the back area or on the shop floor, they never seem interested to help, half full or empty freezers... overall bad service (I only shop here when I HAVE to).
On the other hand... the other store is the complete opposite, it is a good size, has its own car-park, wide aisles, freezers are always well-stocked, clean, tidy, staff cannot do enough… Read Full Review

I think all of the Icelands are the same, whatever the size, what people have to respect is if there is no stock to put out then we can't do much.

Yvonnecollier's Response to yvonnecollier's Review

Written on: 27/10/2004

I'm sorry, but having been employed by Iceland in the past as a Customer Service Supervisor/ Duty Manager, I know only too well how these stores are run. My initial review was totally unbiased, from the view of a customer, and as a customer I find it totally unacceptable for staff NOT to take an interest in the overall image they are giving to customers. When I was Duty Manager I used to be very aware of the fact that "chatting" on the shop floor or in the back areas was not giving the right impression and always found the staff something to do. I do not believe that there is nothing to do if you haven't got the stock to put out, there’s always date checking and /or facing up, not to mention cleaning!
