Iceland's Policy of raising prices on one product by 50% to reduce prices on another to claim they are Cutting prices is tantamount to deception no better than our MP's flipping homes especially when they claim a new improved recipe when all they have done is change the shape of the container, I shall be voting with my money and go back to shopping at ASDA Aldi and Tesco- Read Guest's review (68 words)

Iceland was excellent, my first time and i liked it, well laid out, if lacking overhead signs telling people what was on the isles! but the service was top, very quiet and it was exceptionally quiet- Read Guest's review (52 words)

I recently bought some frozen veg from iceland along with many other products busy mums like myself use: pizzas, chips and such. Me and my 1 year old son had enjoyed our carrot sweetcorn and pea mixture and we decided to share the last portion half way through our veg i found a leaf threw it to the side and continued eating.I scraped a huge pile of veg onto my fork as i opened my mouth i saw a very strange looking piece of veg at closer inspection I was disgusted to find a dead slug.Well you can ...- Read amy88's review (274 words)

Great value and I will continue to shop there, but only because I can't refuse their bargains. The service is pretty shocking at times and the staff at my local branch never smile, frequently continue to have their own conversations whilst serving the customers and hardly ever even make eye contact.- Read Goblins's review (69 words)

Iceland have started rounding up all their prices to the nearest pound. The problem is most supermarkets offer better value. I bought a tray of 4 pork chops for £3; as I was in a hurry I took anything on offer. Lamb Chops were £6, which seems a bit steep.
The good points about Iceland are the lack of people waiting at the tills. It is a quick in and out type of place. Fridges and Freezers are on sale in some branches, but not the one I used.- Read jonathan kelly's review (101 words)

I received all round bad service from Iceland. I paid for the removal of an old fridge and when the men came to deliver my fridge they refused to take the old one, as they said 'it didn't show up on their paperwork', they wouldn't even ring the company to sort out the mix up. The fridge I purchased never worked properly either.
Appalling fridges

We were badly let down by Iceland's appointed logistics team, who appear to be a fellow group company who were tasked with delivering our new fridge.
The first scheduled delivery date the driver apparently couldn't find our address but never rang for directions or bothered using the details we passed onto Iceland (the worrying thing is, it isn't hard to find!). Instead we received a call at 8.50am on the day of delivery to inform us in no uncertain terms they would not deliver that day (desp ...- Read Monts8's review (542 words)

Iceland is a very good shop. They have good brand names at a reasonable price, and their own brand name is good quality. All well presented, very clean, helpful staff, always someone on the till, items have a good expiry date, unlike KwikSave. I am a very happy customer.- Read fayecrill's review (49 words)

I suppose it depends on which Iceland store you happen to buy from. I have 2 local stores, 1 is tiny, dirty, has narrow isles, staff are always talking in the back area or on the shop floor, they never seem interested to help, half full or empty freezers... overall bad service (I only shop here when I HAVE to).
On the other hand... the other store is the complete opposite, it is a good size, has its own car-park, wide aisles, freezers are always well-stocked, clean, tidy, staff cannot do enough ...- Read yvonnecollier's review (138 words and 2 comments)
