I have never used the flowers website, but I always shop at Waitrose when I am home on holiday....my sister works in Waitrose in Kent, my brother. who is in Australia, sent a Xmas hamper to my Mother for Xmas which was excellent, and my Mother retired from Waitrose....need I say more. This is the first time I have used the website, and I will always use it in future. I don't know what I don't like, I cannot comment, but my experience with shopping when I am home has always been excellent.

My Waitrose store in Twickenham has an excellent Fruit n Veg dept.So often this dept in a Waitrose store is a disappointment ,but not in Twickenham.,and the reason is that their is a young guy who works tirelessly making sure the displays are good n the fruit n veg stock levels are plentiful. He works away,is always helpful, and knows what he is talking about. He should go up the promotion ladder.

The website was very easy to use. I found everything I wanted. It's great that you can change your order up to a day before it comes. When it came I was greeted by a very friendly delivery boy. I only had 2 substitutions which were substituted well. All the dates were great. At lease a week left on things like milk. I honestly could not have picked the food better my self. It was all so easy, am so happy and will definitely be ordering online again instead of going into the store.

I recently followed up on some vouchers for Decembers purchases with customer services and they responded within a day and have informed me £25.00 in vouchers will be sent out in the post :) I LOVE WAITROSE

I shop on line as I have a severely disabled husband. Recently my husband had another stroke and we had to be at the hospital at the time of my grocery delivery. I phoned the store and they told me not to worry and they would phone back in a few minutes. When they phoned back it was to say that they had picked my order and it was on it's way - four hours ahead of my delivery slot. It is a half hour drive from the store to my home. They have also come out in snow. The drivers are always courteous and if they are late they will ring me. The quality of meat is better than other supermarkets and the essential range is very good value. Thank you Abergavenny - you're brilliant.

I do all my food shopping at Waitrose. I think the quality of food is great and the service is wonderful. I enjoy the variety of food and even though some bits are expensive I have felt that the quality and great taste of the food is worth the extra money. Staff are very helpful and it is nice to find someone to help you as they are not all on the tills. My favorite Waitrose item is there bread. It tastes so good and reminds me of a bakery I used to buy my bread from when I was a child. It was sad to see Waitrose did have some items that were part of the Horsemeat Scandal but it turned out that the beef was pork instead. This is still bad, but at least it was not widespread. I also enjoy purchasing items on the Deli counter. They always have special offers and let you try everything. I have found that purchasing my ham from the Deli is a lot cheaper then the prepackaged one. I have also ended up buying cheeses I would of never typically of brought. The great thing about Waitrose is that they support local charities with with money by letting Waitrose shoppers choose the charity they would like to support with a green coin.

Staff don't talk amongst themselves they talk to customers1 You don't even have to ask - if it becomes obvious to one of the staff that you are looking for something they will volunteer to help. The stores always look clean and the shelves well stocked. The special offers are easy to understand in terms of cost and quantity. If you want to cut down on spending the Waitrose essential range is great as is the brand name price watch. The essential range is nothing like the value range offered elsewhere it is better than the other supermarkets own range - excellent quality at a sensible price.

I like Waitrose. We don't shop there a lot, but when we do - you can always find a lot of good choices. I especially like their Dine in for 10£. Even ready meals are tasty & much better than Asda's & Tesco's. I agree though that some items are quite expensive, but noone is forcing you to buy them if you can't afford them.

I like Waitrose because I find unusual foods there, lots of organic foods & ethical products. Their really ripe nectarines & peaches are great. I like the Duchy at Waitrose products. I trust Waitrose. Waitrose is part of the John Lewis partnership where all their staff get a share of the profits. There are no shareholders. I approve of this business model.

In a era where every supermarket seems to shout and shout about being the cheapest. Waitrose stand alone in the UK market for those looking for quality products and quality service. Yes, this means that they are often a little more expensive than their bigger competitors, but (for those of us who don’t want to feel like we are being ripped off) Waitrose now compare and prices matches of other supermarkets – they even have their own Essentials range. So what do you actually get for paying a little more? Well, the basics are about as close to perfect as they could be! Layout and presentation are great in store – They couldn’t be further from the “pile it high, and sell it cheap” method used by others. The stores are always immaculate. The toilets (often neglected by other shops) are always as clean as your own home. The range of products is good – Often they don’t have the space to offer 25 different types of baked beans the way Tesco & Sainsbury might, but this is no bad thing – I have never had an issue getting what I’m looking for. And yes, I’ve said it above, but I’ll say it again. The Quality is great! The fruit & veg taste better, the meat is lean and tasty, own brand products are own better than big brands and the Staffing/Customer service is always brilliant (often faultless). Of course no one gets it absolutely right every time, but even then the Waitrose approach shines through. If something isn’t up to scratch, Waitrose are always happy to replace the product as well as refund you. I think Waitrose are the only supermarket still to do this. I always recommend Waitrose to my friends and I’m pleased to say I have a number of converts – some even more devoted than me – what more can you say?

This is a review of Waitrose supermarkets, not their online service as I use Ocado for online orders. However I also shop instore at Waitrose Farnham and Waitrose Yateley. Waitrose simply cannot be beaten when it comes to ethically sourced produce. I recently wrote to Waitrose customer service after hearing of a case of horrendous abuse of pigs at a farm in England. I asked Waitrose if any of their produce might come from this farm, I also asked other big name supermarkets but got no reply. Waitrose on the other hand replied assuring me that not only do they have no association with that particular farm but that they have their own farms and have the highest standards in terms of animal welfare. They provided a very detailed background on their approach to animal welfare, including awards they have one. Very impressive. I want to be able to shop at a supermarket knowing that anything from animal produce comes from animals reared to the highest of welfare standards. I have that peace of mind with Waitrose, sadly none of the others. Aside from this the quality of their food is simply outstanding. Their staff are extremely professional and friendly and I have always found the above stores to be extremely clean and well organised.

I have never written a review but just wanted to say what a brilliant shopping experience I had at Waitrose this evening. Firstly they are open late so I was able to get my 3 small children to bed and then do my christmas shop. I went armed with my long list from parnisps, christmas day groceries, to post boxing day party drinks/food. I can honestly say that I was able to get everything on my list. A number of the essential items I needed were on offer or price matched with Tesco. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had a minor disaster on the way out when my full trolley and my bad driving skills meant I struggled to get out of the sliding doors which led to a basket of my shopping falling out of the trolley and my eggs being smashed. Waitrose immediately helped replace my eggs and were swift to clear up my mess. Just wanted to say a big thank you and happy christmas to all of your staff.

Since having visited the Cirencester store, I have found out that it is the most profitable Waitrose in the country. No surprises there - I could not fault the store in any way.
*Service: this was outstanding, special recognition must go to the smiling girl on the cheese counter who was very polite and genial, as well as having an 'intelligent air' (the same goes for every Partner I saw), for being so lovely - and apologetic - after we had a small wait due to an enormous queue. The counters aside, every employee I saw instore: they may be young and fresh-faced, but there are absolutely no 'drongos', similar to those found in other supermarkets. I wish I could give higher marks for service!
*Layout: wide aisles, wide smiles - again, couldn't be faulted.
*Value for money: my weekly shop for my husband, our teenage daughter and I came in at just over £100. The Essentials range is great value for money. It is important to remember that Waitrose IS expensive, however, I would gladly have payed double for the quality of goods and service recieved.
I was so impressed that I mentioned to (another) smiling Partner how well they were doing. She happily passed on the comments to a manager who was nearby, and, as I gave special mention to the specific Partners who had been so helpful, I felt sure my compliments would be passed on and not 'sucked up' into middle management.
Well done Waitrose!

Waitrose is my favourite supermarket. The layout is condusive to a stress free shop, the range and quality of products is excellent and the customer service is outstanding.
I would reccommend anyone shop at Waitrose rather than Tesco etc. The prices are the same but the experience is a lot more pleasant.

Excellent service at Waitrose, quality products and a pleasure to shop there. OK, so it might be a little more expensive for everyday products, but the choice is superb and there are items you simply won't get anywhere else. If you want a pleasurable food shopping experience, don't go anywhere else!

I am spoilt for choice in my local town as there is every supermarket you could ask for but Waitrose is the best in my opinion. The product range is fantastic, the staff very helpful and friendly and also knowledgeable so it seems. On the one occasion the store did not have what I needed, the staff member actually told me how to make it myself which I then did which was great. I also like the fact that Waitrose support local good causes (well they do in my area and not sure about all branches) - you get given a green token at checkout and you can put it in one of three collections at the entrance and Waitrose then donate money to the charities at the end of each month. As for the few grumbles on here about price, well in my opinion you get what you pay for and yes Waitrose in the past has tended to be a little more expensive but these days they are doing quite a lot to be more competitivley priced - their own brand goods are not expensive and they are also price matching other supermarkets on some other well known branded products. Waitrose wins hands down every time for me - it's the whole mix that I like - being ethical, great product choice, good advertising (ok I'm a sucker!) and great staff.

I always enjoy shopping at Waitrose they do excellent food. The staff at th Sandbach branch have always been friendly and tidily dressed. Also the aisles are wde so you can easily move around them. They beat Aldi, Morrisons, Somerfield and Tesco. So ifyou want good quality fruit veg and ll that stuff i reccomend going to Waitrose you won't be dissapointed.
Happy shopping
