    Good Points: Travel agent,
A choice of hotels, Snack bar

Bad Points: Bad service... if you want anyone that can speak English, then this is not the hotel to go too.
I don't recommend the rep trips as they are badly planned, and can get cancelled within a few hours.
The food at this hotel was not good. You would be better of going self catering.

General comments: When I booked to stay at the Talya Hotel in Turkey it was direct with a Gold Trail agent over the telephone. I informed her that two of us were going to travel, gave her the dates, which resort in Turkey we wanted, and she recommend four different hotels. The telephone agent did recommend the Sillyum Hotel 2000, as she confirmed that they had not heard anything bad from any of the other customers that has stayed there! My partner and I arrived, and our flight was from Gatwick, which left on time and arrived on time. When we arrived at Antayla airport we were driven to our hotel in a Mercedes 6 seater van, which had an LCD TV, and the seats were comfortable. When we arrived at the hotel at reception, the member of staff there was limited on what English they could speak (throughout the whole hotel most of the staff there spoke Russian or German, as most of the other customers there did too). We were given a room - a villa, and it was approximately a 5 - 10 minute walk to the main restaurant as our room was in villa (room 6201). There are plenty of pools to go swimming in, and the beach is sandy, but the water is refreshing. All the local drinks are inclusive, but please bear in mind if you want the same brand drinks as the UK, as you will have to pay an additional cost. The room had a lot of space. It was kept clean at all times, as was the rest of the hotel. The mini fridge was kept full most of the time. The travel rep came to see us at the restaurant on the day we arrived, and we booked two day/night trips out. One was the boat trip, we spent one hour walking around Antyala market (be careful we got lost and it's not cheap there anymore in Turkey on the whole). The food on the boat trip was good, and we got at least two hours off the boat to walk around and swim in the sea. (My other half wasn't happy as we had no belly dancer, but most of the other boats did!!) We also booked a Turkish night which was cancelled twice, and then when we did get a chance to go (we paid extra) the rep informed us that it was a four course meal included, only to find when we arrived 1 hour later (21:15) that the meal had finished. I have to say we were not happy, as the last time we had eaten was at 14:00pm. The snack bar had good food but the main restaurant wasn't great, and they do the same sort of food all day every day. All in all, we as a couple and a few other British that were out there would rate this place as a three star hotel. We really hope this review helps, as we didn't find many. Thanks for reading.
