I have called Ladies Workout Express NFFS many times to cancel my month - to - month that was advertised in the newspaper in Iowa City, and they will not return my call, I called the home office that does the billing and they cannot cancel it because the North Liberty site entered it in for a 36 month contract. Called for the 4th time, let see if I hear back. Will post on if they did or not. I will not tell anyone to join this place. Times I did go I thought it was not worth it.

I participated in the 12 week sauna study. I am currently an intensive care nurse and work 3-4 twelve hour shifts per week (7a-8pm). During this process I tried to make it in during the small time frame of hours the club is open, but fell short due to illness and inconvenience. When I did get to the club it was overly crowded with no machines available.

Now at the end of this "study" which no one has weighed my or taken my measurements they will not allow me to cancel my 2 year membership. I a ...

As soon as I joined up I was totally ignored by staff, who never even looked over to see anybody. She was constantly looking at the computer. No interaction at all with any kind of staff. When I first signed up she was very nice, but not at all knowledgeable of machines.

I personally think Ladies Workout Express NFFS gym is not worth the money for that kind of service.

When I joined Ladies Workout Express NFFS, I was told I could also go to other affiliate clubs. I was not told there was a limit to the use of other clubs. Now I am told you may only use another club twice a week. I am unsatisfied with my gym. The circuit training was having no effect on my weight. I need something more which I knew another club had treadmills, elliptical and classes. Now I am being told that because it is not in writing that you can go to other clubs, that it is a breach of co ...

Ladies Workout Express NFFS offers free personal training, one on one support, and they are very kind. There are no vending machines which isn't so good but this gym is an excellent value!

Ladies Workout Express NFFS had only 4 outdated treadmills, that rarely worked and no elliptical machines! The club closed its doors 3 months into a 2 year contract, but I was required to finish paying $39.95 for two years or be sent to collection. Horrible business ethics.

My Ladies Workout Express closed without notice, and the national organisation will not issue me with a refund, and are turning me over to collections for failing to pay the rest of my contract, even though there is no gym??

This is a great program.. it works for those who are in shape and people who are just starting a fitness program. You can adapt the program as your fitness level increases.
The staff are just amazing, so helpful and they watch to make sure that everyone is using the machines correctly and also help to adapt the exercises for anyone who has limitations. It is also very affordable!

I joined the 16 week "free" promotional program.
(not really free, you pay a monthly fee during the 16 weeks).
I signed a contract that stated as long as I met the main 3 requirements:
    1. Attend all their health education classes
    2. Exercise at minimum 3 x week and maintain log
    3. Meet w/ trainer for scheduled sessions weekly
    Then.........
I would have the OPTION of declining their otherwise mandatory 2 year gym contract at the end of the 16 week program.
I let them know when I signe ...

I joined Ladies Workout Express in North Andover, MA in Summer 2003 after a year with Curves. I have had nothing but good experiences. There is more variety and the staff is very friendly and helpful at Ladies Workout Express. If they don't have an answer for a question they find a way to get it as quick as possible. Our owner is always asking for our input. She's great. I think the person who wrote the bad review needs to move to North Andover, MA.

Our Ladies Express in Cedar Park, Texas is AWESOME! I really enjoy working out there. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way in making sure that you are doing the machines correctly. The members are friendly and helpful as well. I definitely do not feel like a second class citizen as the first reviewer wrote. Ours is the best!

To anyone looking for a good health club,

I would not recommend Ladies Workout Express to any friends or family. Once you sign a contract with them they treat you like a second class citizen. They out source their billing and membership administration to a company called "National Fitness Financial Systems". Once the slaes person gets your signature and bank account number the customer service STOPS.

Trying to resolve an issue? Forget It!!

You will find absolutly no help from the local ...
