“it's been 5 years since we were at Christina...”

it's been 5 years since we were at Christina Apartments, so after reading the reviews we were a little bit disapointed. But one thing was that were made very welcome by the owners. well situated for the beach,too bad it is shingle, shops close at hand, made to feel very welcome, but quiet for night life, you have to travel. “This is a very nice place although it can be very loud...”

This is a very nice place although it can be very loud late at night which isn't good as it is hard to get to sleep, air con is extra which is very annoying! Air con at 4 euro's per bed room per night is kinda steep in my eyes. The area around the apartments was minimal there wasn't much to do so I suggest you hire out a car and hope there is something better on the rest of the island. (read more)

The Christina Apartments are only a bus or taxi ride from Rethymnon, and placed on a road filled with bars, restaurants and shops, with the beach just mins away. A small but friendly community with true Greek hospitality, great entertainment, traditional Greek dancing, BBQ, quiz night etc. Rooms are fitted with air con (small fee payable at reception) and a safety deposit box. We stayed at the Christina Apartments in June 2006, and we found it to be excellent value for money. A small and friendly place. The rooms were nice and airy and spotlessly clean. The owners, plus their mama and papa did everything to make us feel welcome.
<br/>The pool has now been made a lot bigger, so the pictures in the brochure do not do it justice.
