Good Points: Very good staff both in bar area and in restaurant. Very clean and tidy in hotel grounds. Food was ok, what you would expect. Easy access to Rhodes town, about 40 mins walk or 6 euros in the taxi.

Bad Points: Beach is very poor which was disappointing.

General comments: We had a very good 7 days in the Cosmopolitan hotel and would go back. Resort has very little to do but we did go in May so may be better as the season goes on. The resort can get very windy and so is very good for watersports. Quite a nice walk into Rhodes town which is well worth the visit.

I loved the whole atmosphere of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. All the staff are extremely friendly and speak fluent English. The food at the pool bar is beautiful although the restaurant is not to the same standard. The taxi rank is right across the road and it only cost 6 euros to get to rhodes town which is absolutely gorgeous place to be, especially at night. Shopping is good in both Old Rhodes Town and the new town. Faliraki is only 10-15 mins away in a taxi. I ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Ixia, Rhodes. It was one of the best yet! The hotel was lovely, as were the staff, and the food was to a high standard throughout mealtimes.

You are unable to reserve sunbeds, so in order to get one, you have to be in the queue at 8 o'clock!!! Breakfast finished at 9 o'clock, so we had to miss it some mornings, however there was a wide choice of Greek food available in the pool bar for lunch.

The animation team provided v ...

We were disappointed with Cosmopolitan Hotel as soon as we arrived. Room was basic, for 4 stars, our balcony view was over the back road, the food catered for other countries more than for British and the food was nearly cold at every sitting. The beach needed cleaning and quite a walk to a parade of shops, not a lot else there other than hotels. We will not be going back, another that flew out with us felt the same way. I was ill when we came home, the first time in 20 years of travelling.
