    Good Points: location on the beach that is it


    Bad Points: everything except location


    General comments: went to Elenite, Royal Park Hotel 1 yr ago wi my partner and my daughter would never go back staff we ignorant. rep were useless food wasnt up to much unless u like your food half cooked spent our whole week on the beach as thats all there was really to do went into sunny beach stayed for 10 mins and have to leave because there was too many people trying to pick pocket us an elderly couple who stayed in the hotel got the purse with all there money stolen police were useless didnt care

    Me, my family and a couple of mates whent on this 'so said' luxury Royal Park Hotel. When we arrived we seen how beuitiful it looked until we got into our very 1st day. Every 5 or so hours there would be major power cuts which could last for hours. One boy fell down the stairs as the hallways was pitch black.

    I do not reccomend this to anybody who looks for good food.

    we went to elenite in june 07 to royal park in a party of 7 we loved our holiday and the hotel the staff were lovely the room were clean and the food was good the first choice staff were helpfully and entertained us in every way we are looking to book again in 2010 as our holiday was lovely i recommend anyone to go to royal park

    We went on 27th June 08 to Royal Park Hotel, Elenite, and we all got food poisoning, rooms were disgusting, the worst holiday ever,
    we tried to get flights back but could not,
    we are now taking First Choice to court, to get all our money back!!

    The food at the Royal Park Hotel was absolutly disgusting same stuff everyday. The lifeguard was scary but actual Bulgaria was lovely. The beaches and the weather was fantastic. Would recomend Bulgaria but not this hotel.

    Just looking at the reveiws glad to see things have not changed,
    The Royal Park Hotel Elenite, has not changed one bit, we went in summer 2006, we suffered poor health and safety , poor food , and not very nice staff.

    my son had a near miss when a service access was left open by the pool which we didn't notice, I complained to F/C Staff.

    Appalling food ruins what would would otherwise be a great holiday. Superb beach location and huge rooms. Food disgusting, constant queue at the reps desk all day with complaints. People on bus cheered when we were on our way to the airport on our way home, I think this says it all. Went in July 08, subsequently complained to First Choice who seemingly couldn't give a damn, constant letters and calls never answered.Could honestly never recommend this place.

    This hotel is great for just unwinding and enjoying the sun. My only gripe was the actual holiday makers and not the hotel as the hotel was first class and well worth a visit, it seemed a shame that parents let there kids run wild spoiling it for other guest. The waterpark is fun there is plenty of food for even the fussiest of eaters and as for cleanliness, well, the cleaners worked 24/7.

    I was very sorry that I ever went there, there was nothing good to say about this hotel really. It needs a complete renovation and catering manager.

    We had a lovely time. I am not sure what people expect when they go to another country people were moaning about everything. It got us down a bit. It's only the second time my kids have been abroad, the first time was Euro Disney and given the choice we would rather go to Bulgaria.

    Personally i would not give that holiday as a booby prize. We found the staff we dealt with were very rude and I never saw them smile. If we had known all this before, we would definitely looked elsewhere, a holiday from hell.

    We spent weeks before we went on the phone to First Choice trying to change our holiday with no luck, after reading many bad reviews in the month of August. However we are so glad First Choice insisted in sending us, as we had a fantastic holiday despite the weather, and would definitely return, to Bulgaria, and to the Royal Park Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and spotlessly clean, as was the beach, couldn't understand what everyone was complaining about regarding the food, we ate well all week, ...

    Would go back to Bulgaria but not this hotel it was only good if you wanted to sit on the beach and drink lager. Buses were only way to sunny beach other than a taxi, oh and close your eyes when travelling on the roads.

    After 2 weeks of worrying about the Royal Park and all its bad reviews, our family party of 10, ranging from age 4 to 70 left for Bulgaria on 4th August.

    I promised myself that I would write my own review on my return to portray my honest view. Whilst I would have liked to tick excellent in all the boxes (as First Choice said on numerous occasions if your rating was 66% or above!), there were some aspects that prevented me from doing so.

    We were in royal park hotel on 25th august 08 for one week and it really is a great place to bring kids. They really enjoyed it the swimming pool and water park was great for smaller kids and it is also on the beach which was excellent for the bigger kids. It was all inclusive which was excellent, you could eat and drink as much as you wanted all day and the queue wasn't that bad the kids could also get as much minerals and ice cream as they wanted all day, Also our accommodation was cleaned eve ...

    The hotel is beautiful, the maids do a great job of cleaning, I myself saw nothing wrong with it, APART FROM the hotels power supply!!!! I charged my ipod using an international charger, and when I got back it was corrupted!! I had to buy a new one!! my advice: Don't charge your ipod using the sockets, they really don't like it! I hope you have a lovely holiday and don't let anyone put you off; everyone has their own opinion I believe.

    I can not recommend that anyone go with First Choice or to The Royal Park Hotel.
    First Choice say its 4 star, personally I would not even rate it 1 star.

    Me and my partner and 9 year old child stayed there from 1/8/08 till 15\08\08 and had a great time and had no problems at all. We are well travelled and really enjoyed our holiday. The only problems are the people moaning all the time so if like me you are reading this just before you go just enjoy it its not bad at all.

    Having been basically terrified by previous reviews about the Royal Park and after numerous emails back and forth to First Choice, it was with great trepidation that myself, my wife and three boys (along with another party of 5 family members) traveled to this hotel on August 4th.

    Like many others I considered cancelling this holiday at the Royal Park Hotel too. I am so thankful that I didn't, we had a wonderful time.
    I think people need to put things into perspective here, here's just a few points.
    WASPS - Is that the hotels fault? Yes there are wasps, if you leave fizzy drinks unattended of course you're going to attract them. The hotel had the area fumigated whilst we were there and our party of 6 were never stung once.
