Good Points: While our stay at the Panas village in Cyprus the weather was really hot. The location was really nice and there was plenty of bars and restaurants. I recommend Garrys Bar as the staff are really friendly and the food is nice. The apartments are really clean and the pool is really big.

Bad Points: The rooms are quite basic but they are manageable. The entertainment is not very good but as we went out every night this did not bother us. We ate in the hotel one night and did not rate the food.

General comments: I would recommend the Panas Village if you are going self catering, as there is many nice places to eat and there is many nice bars like the Golden Arrow. there's lots of good trips to go on too. The walk to the main strip is about 10 minutes away, which I would avoid mid-afternoon as it's too hot. I would definitely return to Ayia Napa but I would try a different hotel if I was to return. Even though Ayia Napa is known for the busy nightlife, it is also suitable for young kids.

This was my daughters first time in a different country. She loved the staff at the hotel, and they made a big fuss of her. They where always asking if we were OK, and needed anything. The entertainment staff at Panas Village in Ayia Napa were so good, that we bought one of their CD's for our daughter to play at home.

The only problem that I found was that some parents would leave their children alone by the pool while they would go off for hours to look around the town etc. Also, some pe ...

We had a great time - Female 51, Female 33, Boy 15, Boy 12 and Girl 9. The room was spacious, and we had clean towels. They were a bit small, but hey, they did the job!

Panas Village in Ayia Napa has 2 pools. One is big, clean, warm and fun, and the other is small, warm and quiet.

Staff were OK, but we were not on holiday with them anyway. They just serve food and drinks, so it makes no difference really.

The food was sometimes nice and sometimes OK. There was chicken, fish, pork an ...

This is deffo not a four star hotel. The rooms were very basic and clean which is OK but the choice of food and entertainment let it down. We were at the block at the back (near the supa market) which had its own pool and very quiet which we liked, sometimes we had the pool to ourselves. My three year old loved it but a bit boring for my seven year old but we liked the peace and quiet. The only problem was that we had paid all inclusive and were constantly paying for drinks at the supermarket a ...

We found the service at Panas Village in Ayia Napa to be really bad. The staff made you feel like you couldn't ask for anything. Also, the food was the worst thing that I have ever tasted. Nothing went together, and it tasted like NHS hospital food - awful, and not at all worth the £850 we paid. We paid for 4 star and got a two star if that. Also, don't stay here if you are wanting to go to the clubs, as it's a taxi ride. I spent the whole time wanting to come home.

We had a great holiday at Panas Village in Ayia Napa, and we were really sceptical because of the great price, but it was excellent value for money. We ate in food and drink what the holiday cost and more, so the flight and room were free probably. Great entertainers with daily activities, and the evening shows were different every night. Would highly recommend!!!

The food at Panas Village in Ayia Napa was good, but it was the same stuff each evening, apart from a different theme, and after two weeks it does get a bit repetitive.

There is no entertainment for children, apart from a half hour mini disco each night, doing the same kind of stuff. After that, some nights they had a show on, which was okay. The best night was the magician.

The staff at the hotel were okay, but they were not as friendly as staff at some hotels we have been too.

    The roo ...

Panas Village have the best apartments I've been to. A stones throw from sea. Pool great for all ages. Food was delish. Only pay 10 quid deposit for air con. Indoor pool and gym adequate.Spotless condition. Taxi service the best in the world. About 4 Cypric pounds to the main pub and club area. Would go back in a min.

    Panas Village:
I booked a holiday to Cyprus as a late deal (I booked on Saturday and flew on the Sunday). My partner and I could not decide where to go, so when the operator at My Travel brought up an allocation on arrival to Cyprus (flying to Laranca), with a guaranteed 4 star rating property for £200, we decided to go for it.

Unfortunately the flight was a night flight, so we didn't arrive until 4.15am, I found the airport to be very well organised which surprised me as I worked in ...
