    Great bike and a very good all rounder. The suspension if the Saracen Ikon is a great bike, this one is one of the best ones I have riden, and I have been riding mountain bikes a long time.

    Not an 'extremists' bike, but more than adequate for trailing, commuting, camping, general use on trails etc. Comfortable and capable on road with easy to use quick shift grip gearchanging. I've used mine for trailing and on-road use with the kids without issue for 7 years now, needs no more than general lubrication and servicing. I'd buy another one when my current machine is past its day.

    The Saracen Ikon Mountain Bike is light, it is good looking and has full suspension including dirt forks. All round it is very good. Also it's good in the rough stuff but wouldn't hold up to extreme mountain biking.

    The Saracen Ikon is a not to bad looking bike overall. When you first ride it, its a heavy bike to start with but you will get used to it eventually. The rear mech is a bit scabby, but does the job. Cheap forks are put on it though, they easily cease up.
    If you consider a bike for light off road use and a lot of on road use, get this bike, but dont expect it to take all kinds of abuse.
