    Good Points: Excellent staff, food and accomodation

    General comments: The Gran Hotel El Tope is a very comfortable hotel. Exceptional staff. Very clean, good food with lots of choice, I would definitely recommend.

    Great hotel. The staff are superb. The food was great and the room with view over the town just right. What a lovely town Puerto de La Cruise is. All the shopping you could want with lovely seafront. Plenty of restaurants if you need them catering for everyone.
    There are steps back up to the hotel, give them a try, they aren't too bad. The rep was not very helpful. If you want her you have to go to the hotel next door and at very odd times when you should be out enjoying yourselves. Luckily we ...

    The hotel was very Grand looking, I could imagine it was a business 15 years ago, may need a little refurbishment. Food was good. Entertainment OK. It was so quiet round the pool that you could hear the pages of your book turn.

    Puerto De La Criz is great, and much nicer than the south of the island, so lush and green and has a lot more character to it. I've read some rather negative reports about the Gran Hotel El Tope and the entertainment. All I can say is that everyone we spoke with during our stay had nothing but praise for the hotel, its staff and all the entertainers. We hope to go there again.
