    Good Points: Gives longer eyelashes


    Bad Points: Weighed eyelashes down if I curled them prior to application


    General comments: One of the many 'eye enhancing' products in the Almay Bright Eyes range. This Mascara promises to lift the eyelashes and give a wider, brighter eye effect.

    I'm afraid to say I wasn't entirely convinced, unlike its eye defining duo counterpart I must admit to disappointment. I have medium long eyelashes with no curl of their own. This mascara gave some lift and curl without eyelash curlers but I expected more and decided to only use it with eyelash curlers, however, I prefered the results acheived when I hadn't used the curlers beforehand.

    The mascara also has a habit of clogging on the second coat, even if the first coat applied is thin.

    If you want an eye brightening effect I'd recommend simply using eyelash curlers, a good mascara such as Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and a pearly white eyeliner along the lower eyelash line (see the Almay Eyebrightening eye defining duo).

    Almay Bright Eyes Mascara - This mascara does give you pretty looking eyelashes. Stay the whole day, doesn't flake. I love it.
