I am extremely disappointed with the Kanebo 38 degree mascara. It does nothing for my lashes. It is very runny so is messy to use and smudges easily when applying and I have been using mascara very successfully for many years. It does not separate lashes successfully or enhance them and does not remove as easily as claimed. Clinique make a better one using the same technology at a much lower price.

A great no clump mascara.
as far as I know, just got name changed from Kanebo 38C to Sensai mascara 38C
What I like the most about this mascara is

no clump during the day ,or raining day.(waterpoof)

it's super easy to clean up... wash with warm water and you can see the mascara fall off look like eye lush but it's not,then wipe them off with cotton pad. That is it.

Love it.... even the price is big higher than average, but trust me it's worth.

Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance is brilliant! I always look for mascara that lasts and looks close to natural - it shouldn't be obvious. This does the trick - looks natural, no smearing or smudging and no mess when you're washing it off, perfect!

Kanebo mascara silk performance is a fantastic product - I have sensitive eyes that water regularly (also a contact lens wearer). Waterproof up to 38 c, then can be washed off with warm water. I love it and cannot always find it when I need to. It does not last long enough!!! I seem to run out too often due to using it so much.

I love this Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance mascara for many reasons BUT: the top of the container comes off after some time, making it impossible to use. This is a huge turn-off as this has happened every time I've bought this mascara. Despite all its qualities: easy to put on and wash off. I will not buy another Kanebo mascara as I hate the waste of having to throw it away while it is still half full because of the problem I mentioned earlier.I will be on the look out for Kanebo mending ...

This Kanebo mascara is absolutely the bees knees and there is nothing else like it. Its by far the best mascara on the market with nothing even coming close to second.

Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance is the best mascara ever made. I suppose depending on what you require. But my main problem is black eyes. I have tried loads of very expensive designer brands and high street brands for water proof mascara, and this is the best of the best. Incredible as is does not remove unless you wash your eye's in warm water (hense the38 degree's) although some people haven't quite realise that??? does also lengthen and add volume. Fantastic. Have recommended it to eve ...

Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance, it doesn't budge. it goes on super smoooooothyou do have to "heat it up" with fairly warm water to get it off Love it! On my 4th tube!

This is the first mascara since I began to use mascara (22 years) that I have been so happy for. It stays beautiful all day.. on my eyes and even when I'm at swimming it stays on! Fantastic and I do recommend it to all my friends.

Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance has a lovely fine brush for easy application
Does not come off when swimming
Does not give you 'panda' eyes in the morning
Easy to remove with warm water

Wish this product was more widely available. Used to be able to get it at House of Fraser but now is only available over the counter at Harrods. If you want it there is a 4.95 delivery charge.

I have used Kanebo Mascara 38 degrees Silk Performance for around 8 years now. I think it is fantastic! I have introduced so many friends to it. I like the original mascara with the smaller brush - don't find the longer mascara so easy to apply.Friends get it for me in Saks, NY, but they do sell it (in both brown and black) in Harrods, so I get from there otherwise.I think it's the best mascara on the market and I have used hundreds!

I've used Kanebo 38 for 7 years now. Great product! You don't need to worry if it starts raining and you can sweat without fear to get blurry panda eyes.

At the same time it is easy to wash away with warm water.

Kanebo mascara is great!! I have it used for approx 10 years. The lack of availability is a problem, the staff at Boots look at you like you're crazy when you ask for it, and nothing comes close. I tried Blinc, but it was awful and crumbly. Kanebo stays on, but easy off in the bath etc. Nice and gentle on the lashes, and the skin. Highly recommend.

After reading this site I decided to try the Kanebo- it was soooo disappointing. Not only does it barely lengthen your lashes it is awful to remove - you wash with warm/ hot water - it goes all stringy ends up in your eyes and you pull out half your lashes getting it off

Do not use this mascara if you wear contact lenses as it flakes and gets into your eyes, also it takes a long time to dry so if you make the mistake of getting dressed after you have applied it you end up looking like a panda

I strongly recommend this product. I haven't found anything like it and it keeps my lashes so healthy and I use it everyday.

I found out about this mascara purely by chance about ten years ago - before Kanebo withdrew from UK and this is THE BEST mascara you can use - Once tried you will not go back!! - I ran out recently and bought a high street one - VILE! great clumps and smudges under my eyes, went straight in the bin - I would rather go without! - trust me, use this mascara & you will be hooked!

Love it!!!!! Wish it was stocked more freely though! I suffer with panda eyes with every other type of mascara, i have tried so many different brands of waterproof and this is the only one that works. Its great! I wore it on my wedding day when I cried a lot and the weather was boiling so I was sweating and yet 14 hours later my mascara still hadn't smudged! Brilliant!
