    JVC TH-V70R system is bad, apart from good look- during first year went to fix flapon top, and been told that laser reader need replace as well , for last few years used very rare , but even after that now flap on the top gone again( cant lift ) , making noises , and subwoofer gone as well- can buy if after short time intent to change for new one ...-:((

    good picture excellent sound big bass! nice looking kit! great features.


    also a great photo feature allowing the playback off JPG files slideshow or pick your picture from a menu. excellent, great price from Richer sounds. £3.49. multi region.

    on playback of ntsc discs on a pal setup it converts the picture to pal. causing a stutter when fast motion occurs! unless there is a pure ntsc playback that i don't know about this is the major downfall.

    The JVC TH-V70R is a great system. I love it.
    In particular the picture is much better than my old player, and the sound is also great. Listening to CDs with the prologic II in surround sound is very effective.
    The only negative I've found so far is the size of the subwoofer, but if you can hide it away then no problem.
    You can get it for only 349 at richer sounds, which is for multiregion, which I think is a bargain. For the same money you could go for the Sony DAVS550 which has a habit of s ...
