I have noticed the last few of these rimmel kohl pencils I have bought need constant sharpening and just keep breaking in the sharpening process. Can get through a quarter of the pencil in one attempt to sharpen so not good value at that rate!!! I use a proper make up sharpener so this is very frustrating. Happens so much now that I have stopped buying it! Had to use my fingers to try and point it into a reasonable end when I have got that far without it breaking!! Dissapointed as it used to... Easy to use. Rich velvety black colour. Does not drag or feel dry against skin. Very reasonably priced. I have used them for years and years.
I have tried other very expensive brands of eyeliner but they simply do not work as well as this product.

I always use this eyeliner, does need sharpening a lot but it lasts for a long time. Just make sure to check the outer corners of your eyes if it's a hot day, it does seem to gather there on me. Otherwise a brillint eyeliner i don't use any other. (read more)

I always buy this eye-liner. I wouldn't change it for anything more expensive as I have been there and always came back to this gem. It is good for creating that smokey effect and lasts long on a night out with applying it maybe once when out! Defo a bargin (read more)

Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Pencil is a very good eyeliner. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't hurt the eyelid! It's quite thick, so it doesn't run down quickly.
It did smudge slightly for me, but that's probably because I had sweaty eyelids! I recommend.

I buy this product in weird crazy colors. I pay more money at MAC for black, grey and brown; but for colors that I am only going to wear once in a while I buy Rimmel. This eye pencil in only like $2.29 at Target. I have it in white, lilac, navy blue, electric blue, and bright green. The colors are vibrant and go on easily. They last until I take them off. Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Pencils are definitely recommended because of their dirt cheap price and wide color range (around 15 colors). (read more)

I love it! Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Pencil stays on, it stays dark and doesn't go that horrible grey colour! I never thought there where better and worse eye liners, just thought they where all the same but this is amazing! It just stays on and comes off when you want it to! I'll definitely be repurchasing! Definitely Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Pencil liner is the best out there by a long shot and it's also the cheapest! I tried quite a few other kohl liners before this one (from Bourjois and Nivea) which were both more expensive, ran very quickly and were trickier to apply. This one lasts a long time, gives a strong colour and is insanely cheap. My friends all use it and it's most definitely the one pencil I would recommend. (read more)

Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Pencil: This eyeliner is really cheap and doesn't run out quickly. Mine has lasted a year so far. It is quite easy to apply and it doesn't usually smudge. (read more)

Agree completely - they just won't sharpen, whether I put them in the fridge or not, use different sharpeners, nothing works, tips break off 9 out of 10 times - so frustrating!
